My husband & I laughed so much our faces were hurting the next day! Tommy made the show personal, and specific to Winnipeg, which makes everything that much funnier.
It was my first time at the NAC and we were impressed with the ease of parking (we drove from Kanata) and spacious seating in the Theatre. Tommy Tiernan was funny as usual but I could see how his act has changed from what I was familiar with. It took some time for him to warm up to what I was expecting but I left laughing.
Tommy is hilarious! He is one of my all time favourite comedians When he told us how he gets lonely going back to his hotel after the performance I almost shouted that we could keep him company. He seems like a nice guy......and crazy funny!
Tiernan was excellent. He’s quite brilliant, very funny, creative…. He knows performance and uses the entire space of the stage. And he knows how to work with the audience to his advantage. I was very impressed.
My ribs and face hurt, I laughed so much. Can't wait for his next pass through town. I'll be amongst the first to get tickets.
Slow start, but once he got going it was hilarious. Talks about real life events that anyone can relate to. I would love to see him again!
No opening act. Tiernan delivered a well paced very funny 90 minutes. If you're a fan and you've seen him before or you're seeing him for the first time this set won't disappoint. This was my second time seeing him and I look forward to a third time in the future. I highly recommend this show to any fan of comedy.
Loved his out of the blue craziness ....we all need this lunnicy at times ....time flew by could of listened to him an hour or two longer ....must make me as crazy , thank you Tommy ......
Funny guy, was able to weave in Ottawa jokes and Ireland bashing as well... Great rapport with the audience.
This was one of the best comedians I've ever seen! He is easily on par with John Pinette & Jeff Dunham. We were completely in stitches. My TMJ (jaw) was hurting from laughing and smiling so much. My husband, me and another couple we attended with had a great time. I would pay to see him again - no question. I have to admit I was a bit concerned that the evening wouldn't be that great - I hadn't heard about him before I ordered the tickets - and ordered them having never heard of him before. I do not regret that for a second. This was the best money I've spent on a show. See him - you'll laugh - he just tells it like it is. If you are easily offended by swearing - you may want to skip him though. I don't mind it - it isn't anything I haven't heard before. He made eye contact with us a number of times during the show - he was really watching to see that we enjoyed him. Definitely a must see show!
We laughed so hard that we were literally crying. It was SUCH a great show. Just the right length. He was positively brilliant. Dirty without being vulgar. Would see him again and again.
Seen him at the Vicar, would love to see him in Alberta.
