Toronto FC History
Toronto FC played their first season in 2007 and became a perennial MLS Cup playoff contender after adding Italian soccer star Sebastian Giovinco in 2015. In his first year with the team, Giovinco became the first Toronto FC player to win MLS' Golden Boot, MVP and Newcomer of the Year awards, en route to the team's first-ever playoff berth. The team reached further success the following year by reaching the MLS Cup Final, then won the championship in 2017. That victory, coupled with their winning of the Canadian Championship and Supporters' Shield matches earlier in the year, made Toronto FC the first team in Major League Soccer history to complete the rare feat known as the domestic treble.
Toronto FC have been most dominant in the annual Canadian Championship, in which the club has taken home the Voyageurs Cup eight times, including in 2020. Individual player accolades include Rookie of the Year for midfielder Maurice Edu in 2007 and Most Valuable Player for attacking midfielder Alejandro Pozuelo in 2020.

Toronto FC at BMO Field
Toronto FC is the city's first Major League Soccer team and the first Canadian team in the league. When BMO Field, the team's home stadium, opened in 2007, it was already the largest soccer-specific stadium in Canada. The venue has since expanded to accommodate over 30,000 fans. The Eastern Conference team's most vocal and visible supporters club, the Red Patch Boys, started rallying online back in 2006 before the team had even played its first match.

Toronto Fc game Saturday July 23rd was a great experience for myself and family. The crowd was unbelievable and polite, with no concerns. Toronto FC dominated Charlotte FC 4-0 which was good for myself and family's first soccer experience. ⚽️ Thanks again and i hope myself and family are able to enjoy another game this year. Thanks, Steve Jr
Have family here from Scotland and one used to be a professional football player. We thought it would be a good idea to bring them to a TFC game. Everyone (there was 10 of us) had a brilliant night. We all agreed we would do this again. The atmosphere and the crowd was amazing
The match was pretty good excitement wise. The view from the seats was also very good. Definitely worth watching the Game at BMO field again.
Good seats for a good price. Great atmosphere to enjoy a game
This was our first time seeing a tfc game in real life, the experience was incredible. I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t done it yet. Super easy to get to with the train, crowd was such an experience to be part of! Will definitely go again!
The only thing that could be better is that the standing room could be a little higher from pitch so that we can see better
No one out of 7 ppl that work in the BMO stadium could find our seats. They looked for 30mins then finally decided to sit us in an empty box. We missed half the game and still no one could find the seats for Sec 119VIP row 1 seats 10 11 12
I loved the experience. As a football fan no matter which club or team you have supported before just watch the games of Toronto FC from Section 115/116. You'll love the experience of a fan with chants that do not stop no matter what.
Great experience. The crowd was so amazing. Took my son and my old man there for the 1st time & they both had a blast!
It was a great game and loads of fun with friends and family.
I wasn’t a soccer fan until I attended the TFC game. From the drumming, to the chants, they had fireworks when they won! We arrived late I thought we missed some half time show because there was live music, no, it went on for the whole game. Definitely felt the energy. Highly recommend it, if you’re not a fan, you will leave as one.
Just a quick question, the price of the tickets its the same for adults and kids ?
I couldn't find tables in the upper level. And no 50/50 salesman
We canceled our dinner reservation because we received an email from BMO Field saying that their Mill Street Patio would be open at 5pm and there would be food trucks, etc. We were surprised to find only one food truck (Poutine) and not all of us (party of 6) wanted Poutine or other items from that One truck.
The checking was good. The seats ended up in the sun that we could not bear. We saw empty seats on the other side and moved. Had to change the seats a few times as the owners showed up. For $100 per seat wish there was better protection from Weather (sun, rain, snow)
TFC vs Orlando City May 14. Great view from 4 seats in Section 203 Row 24. Despite TFC,s underwhelming performance we enjoyed the vista of Lake Ontario and western views of city. These seats will provide great views of sunsets in summer. Oh ya back to the game. Affordable section of seats and we enjoyed the game from this perspective. Will definitely purchase in these section again.
As usual with all MLSE events, the prices for anything - water, beer, food - is outrageous. Shame on MLSE!
Concession lines were too long and slow. need to find a way to get the $$ out of people pockets faster that way they spend more $$ on food and drinks… like beer. Maybe someone walking around like at baseball games… get your cold beer here!!!
Easy entry to stadium, easy access to food and drinks, reasonably prices for such an event, washroom access easy, great atmosphere, fun and a win for TFC!! Will come back!
