Toronto Maple Leafs History
The Toronto Maple Leafs have 13 Stanley Cup Championships and seven division championships, with more than 60 former players, coaches and executives in the Hockey Hall of Fame. The Maple Leafs were one of the NHL's founding teams in 1917. They originally were known as the Arenas and then the St. Patricks before taking their current name in 1927 after Conn Smythe bought the franchise.
The team won two Stanley Cup Championships in the NHL's first five years and returned to the finals in 1932 behind the "Kid Line" of eventual Hall of Famers Charlie Conacher, Joe Primeau, and Busher Jackson. In 1942, they defeated the Detroit Red Wings in seven games to win the first of five Stanley Cup Championships under coach Hap Day. The addition the following year of center Ted Kennedy helped the Leafs maintain their dominance, and resulted in another title in 1951.
The Leafs won three Stanley Cup Championships in a row starting in 1962, and another in the 1966-1967 season, thanks to a roster brimming with players who would end up in the Hall of Fame: George Armstrong, Johnny Bower, Red Kelly, Dave Keon, Tim Horton, Allan Stanley, Bob Pulford, and Frank Mahovlich.
The team returned to the conference finals in 1992-1993 and 1993-1994, then again in 1998-1999—the latter trip powered by eventual franchise scoring leader Mats Sundin. The Maple Leafs have appeared in the Playoffs every year consecutively since 2017. The Toronto Maple Leafs have made the Playoffs a total of 74 times to date.

Great preview of what's to come this season! Can't wait for October 6th!
Was really looking forward to watching this game with my wife. It's one thing that the hometown leafs lost 4-0 but I'm more dissapointed with the seating and price. I can't believe coughing up hard earned money $212.55 bought me 2 really crappy seats. They were not much different then the $40./ tick I spent last season. MLSE what freaking crooks. I am really disappointed.
My wife Jackie and I had an awesome time at the game and look forward to any future opportunities to go to any Leaf games... we always have a blast :)
The game was AWESOME I got some crappy standing tickets and this person came up to me and gave me FREE GOLDS and it finished off with a SWEET WIN over the sens I would highly recommend this GO LEAFS GO!!!
As always, a night out watching hockey live was great.
Can't beat getting a tic to game like this in the lower level on Ticketmaster two months before the event, and the Habs WIN !!!!
Great facility ,great culture. Habs came to play. MY LEAFS DID NOT,
worst seats in the entire building given out. Some kids night out... My son's first leaf experience and out seats are in the highest row in the building.
I had Fun BONUS with Leaf Win.I made some friends.I hope to go back some day.
Seat was good location still the tickets to Toronto games are over priced but I guess you got to pay the price when there is a big demand for the tickets.
It was a great night at the Leafs game for my mom and I , it was her first game ever at the ACC. We had a ball, and one suggestion for James Reimer. Use Ronnie james Dio (R.I.P) song Holy Diver and incorporate HOLY REIMER. That would be just awesome to hear. Thank you
The game was great!! Loved it and love my LEAFS!!!! GO Leafs GO!!!
This was my first Leafs game in the platinum zone of the ACC. I was very, very close to the ice and this was a great experience, although the view was a bit obstructed to the other end of the rink. I also liked the platinum lounge area. I discovered this area only thanks to my own curiosity. It would have been nice if somebody would have told me about this area inside the ACC. Food and drinks were great as always and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The game itself was not so entertaining... the Leas lost 6 : 2 But anyway, better times will come for the Leafs and I am already thinking about another trip from europe to T.O. to attend a Leafs game at the ACC
My second Leafs game at the ACC was just fantastic. I really love the comfort of the ACC and its amazing variety of food and beverage choices. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I never had to wait in a line when I wanted to get something to eat or drink. The Leafs played really great hockey that night and it was just a lot of fun and pretty exciting to watch this game. Overall it was a fantastic experience, worth every penny!!
how dirty did tampa bay play, and what was with the picking on kessel??? he doesnt even hurt a fly and they were after him!!! even if he tried he can't been mean. it was a tough game and i congratulate the leafs for trying their best. lisa
Bad spot. Could not get into our seats as the CBC reporter was doing his piece there. Then they started taking everything down midway through the 3rd period. We missed both goals due to this. I still do not know why they could not wait until the game had ended........
Even though we had badly obstructed seats (Buffalo's goal net for the1st and 3rd was not visible to me!), this was without a doubt the best Leafs game I have ever witnessed!!! The Buds started out slow, outshot 31 to 17 at one point, but came up with timely goal-scoring when it counted. Reimer has been a saviour during this playoff run and hopefully he can keep it up!! GO LEAFS GO!!!!
My son and I had a wonderful evening, including dinner at Realsports. We had a great time cheering on the Leafs and experiencing the game live! The in-seat service personnel was fantastic!
Awesome game, awesome seats, awesome service from ticket master
It was an excellent game, and the view was amazing. I wasn't sure if I would be missing out on some of the game sitting on the end rows, but the view was actually great. There were also a couple of recent ex-Leafs sitting in behind us, so it was a thrill for my son to meet those players.
