I went with my four year old son and we had a great time. It was a great mixture of skill and comedy at times. I would definitely go again. Great entertainment.

Toronto Maple Leafs History
The Toronto Maple Leafs have 13 Stanley Cup Championships and seven division championships, with more than 60 former players, coaches and executives in the Hockey Hall of Fame. The Maple Leafs were one of the NHL's founding teams in 1917. They originally were known as the Arenas and then the St. Patricks before taking their current name in 1927 after Conn Smythe bought the franchise.
The team won two Stanley Cup Championships in the NHL's first five years and returned to the finals in 1932 behind the "Kid Line" of eventual Hall of Famers Charlie Conacher, Joe Primeau, and Busher Jackson. In 1942, they defeated the Detroit Red Wings in seven games to win the first of five Stanley Cup Championships under coach Hap Day. The addition the following year of center Ted Kennedy helped the Leafs maintain their dominance, and resulted in another title in 1951.
The Leafs won three Stanley Cup Championships in a row starting in 1962, and another in the 1966-1967 season, thanks to a roster brimming with players who would end up in the Hall of Fame: George Armstrong, Johnny Bower, Red Kelly, Dave Keon, Tim Horton, Allan Stanley, Bob Pulford, and Frank Mahovlich.
The team returned to the conference finals in 1992-1993 and 1993-1994, then again in 1998-1999—the latter trip powered by eventual franchise scoring leader Mats Sundin. The Maple Leafs have appeared in the Playoffs every year consecutively since 2017. The Toronto Maple Leafs have made the Playoffs a total of 74 times to date.

We did had lots of fun, for my kids was amazing. The price for games, is very expensive for a family of four like us, that's why its a good chance for them to see the players so close up. Thanks,
Amazing! SO entertaining!

Great Show for the kids. A really unique experience to sit so close while seeing the Leafs in action at the ACC, without having to take out a 2nd mortgage to pay for tickets.

Good event, amazing players! Unforgettable emotion.
Too short at 1:37 minutes
by BigDaddy005 on 2009-12-07Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5After a bad loss to Boston, I don't know if the leafs were really into it. Setup time between skills was too long. Local kids who took part in the show spent as much time on the ice as the leafs. Oh well there was always the blue vs white scrimmage game to look forward to after the skills competition. HOLD ON WAIT, show ended suddenly and no game. My kids and I were a little disappointed. If the Leafs spent 40 minutes putting on a show I would be surprised.
Leafs Skills Competition <3
by LeafsGirl148 on 2009-12-07Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5Leafs Skills Competition was amazing... with the Leafs regular season games being so expensive I personally cannot go to a game. Skills Competition allows You get to see the guys just chillen and having an good time, interacting with fans instead of being stress out about the games.. Overall, The Competition was awesome and I can't wait to go again

Maple Leaf Skills Competition
by Justice on 2009-12-07Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5The previous years were a lot better. Much more fun for kids, plus kids look forward to free give aways. This year everyone did say, what happen to the free give aways for the kids. No sponsorship this year!!!!Doesn't look to good on the Toronto Maple Leafs. My kids were disappointed, not even one autograph this year, I guess everyone was in a hurray.
Lots of Fun!!
by concertgirllover on 2009-12-07Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5My family and I had a great time. It's fun to see the Toronto hockey players in a different setting, where they are joking around and having fun.

LEAFS SKILLS COMPETITION - a fun family event
by DJJC on 2009-12-07Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5We attended the Toronto Maple Leafs Skills Competition yesterday, and really enjoyed it. Let's face it, tickets to a game are expensive, but this gave us a chance to see the Air Canada Center and all of the Leafs players for 20 bucks. The players seemed to be enjoying themselves, too, as it was a casual event. It was great to see all the little kids and families having a great time. Darryl Sittler, Nick Kypreos, Bill Derlago and Gary Leeman were there signing autographs, too. ANDthe event raised 80,000 dollars for charity
Awesome

not real exciting, a little more planning could go into it. toronto fans are the best in the world you should show that by putting on a awesome show. it was great getting darryl sittlers augraph , nice man. fans put tons of money into the leafs i think that one day of giving fans a great day back is not a lot to ask for.
- by Valgal on 2009-12-07Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Not as good as last year
by Indigold on 2009-12-07Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5Having attended the Maple Leaf Skills competition last year, I was very disappointed in the program this year. Not enough time was allotted to creative stick-handling competition and too much time was given to circus type events e.g., musical chairs and a goalie race. Thanks to Joe Bowen for saving the day..... he was,as usual, a top-notch,delightful M.C.!!

It was a good event. There were former leafs available for autographs, which the kids really enjoyed. It would have been nice if there were a few more, or more of the players were accessible for autographs as well. Over all it was a good event. My kids had fun. I would go again next year, and considering the ticket prices for hockey games, this is much more affordable for a family of 4.
