Toronto Maple Leafs History
The Toronto Maple Leafs have 13 Stanley Cup Championships and seven division championships, with more than 60 former players, coaches and executives in the Hockey Hall of Fame. The Maple Leafs were one of the NHL's founding teams in 1917. They originally were known as the Arenas and then the St. Patricks before taking their current name in 1927 after Conn Smythe bought the franchise.
The team won two Stanley Cup Championships in the NHL's first five years and returned to the finals in 1932 behind the "Kid Line" of eventual Hall of Famers Charlie Conacher, Joe Primeau, and Busher Jackson. In 1942, they defeated the Detroit Red Wings in seven games to win the first of five Stanley Cup Championships under coach Hap Day. The addition the following year of center Ted Kennedy helped the Leafs maintain their dominance, and resulted in another title in 1951.
The Leafs won three Stanley Cup Championships in a row starting in 1962, and another in the 1966-1967 season, thanks to a roster brimming with players who would end up in the Hall of Fame: George Armstrong, Johnny Bower, Red Kelly, Dave Keon, Tim Horton, Allan Stanley, Bob Pulford, and Frank Mahovlich.
The team returned to the conference finals in 1992-1993 and 1993-1994, then again in 1998-1999—the latter trip powered by eventual franchise scoring leader Mats Sundin. The Maple Leafs have appeared in the Playoffs every year consecutively since 2017. The Toronto Maple Leafs have made the Playoffs a total of 74 times to date.

yet again, the Leafs failed to show up...I want my money back!
It's always a great night when the Habs beat the Leafs in Toronto.
one of the worst games I have ever been to. To top it off, I asked them to post Happy Birthday for my daughter's sweet 16 birthday and the Maple Leafs even screwed that up.
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the hockey game at the Air Canada Centre, except for the outcome - unfortunately the Maple Leafs lost the game and this fan was a bit sad about that. However, the experiance at the Air Canada Centre was great. These seats in the red section were excellent. The scoreboard was incredible. We will definitely do this again, if we can find the tickets. Thanks.
The game was great. The tickets said "obstructed view" I had no trouble the view was great one corner of the rink I couldn't see the ice for the boards but other than that............... Fantastic. Go Leafs Go
The new and improved Leafs are here to stay! the Habs got lucky!
good game beer kind of expensive
The game was amazing. Tickets were great seats even though purchased them online. I will definately come to T.O. again to watch the Habs kick ass. It was an unbelievable experience.
The game was amazing! Pre-season and all! My sister and I had an amazing time! I'm the Detroit fan and She is the Toronto fan - we had a blast! She had never been to a game before or the ACC!
Actually found the view to be good & the added space alot more comfortable. Best deal for the money for sure & will look to buy them again.
Great game, amazing goals, Leafs look good for coming season
It was an enjoyable evening spent with my teenage son. Even though ticket prices are a bit steep, whenever I get a chance to see the Leafs, I love going.
ordered online, got to the arena seats where next to a wall that blocked 1/4 of the ice so i couldnt see it. i was able to see the action on the video screen over center ice but it took away from the game enjoyment
Great seats - good service - great game - nice to see the leafs play well at home and almost win - it kept us on the edge of our seat
Not a bad seat in the ACC. A little expensive, but still overall good.
This was a great game to watch. 7-6 final score you didn't even mind the leafs lost. The new area at the ACC is really nice including Berkies Dog House, the foot long poutine dog was something to be seen and ate. Staff was much friendlier than I remembered from last year.
This game was great!! The seats were perfect for watching the game!
it was the last exibition game, the 9th in 12 days and they were all tired out. Nonetheless it was an entertaining game to watch - it was my first time in the ACC for a Leafs game. Even at the nosebleeds standing area, the game was easily followed, although lower seats would have been much much better.
We love hockey and are a true hockey family. Mom, Dad, our daughter and son all 4 of us play. We are from Winnipeg and my kids have never seen an NHL game before because the Jets left before they were born. So it was a big first for us. We loved the arena and the game. The leafs are my son's favourite team.
I am a recent Leafs fan and i couldnt be happier with the players we have now! We just may have a shot this year!!!
