Toronto Raptors History
The Toronto Raptors were founded in 1995 as part of the NBA's expansion into Canada. The Raptors have been the only NBA team based in Canada since the 2001–02 season. After acquiring eight-time All-Star Vince Carter in 1998, the Raptors set league-wide attendance records and made the playoffs from 2000 to 2002. Led by Carter, the Raptors earned their first playoff series win in 2001 and advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals.
The Raptors didn't return to the playoffs until the 2006–07 season, when they won the Atlantic Division title. After Masai Ujiri joined as the team's General Manager in 2013, the Raptors became a consistent playoff team, winning five division titles and having their most successful season in 2018. The following year, during the 2019 playoffs, the Raptors earned their first Eastern Conference title and went on to win their first NBA championship, defeating the Warriors in 6 games.

The Raptors vs. Dallas game on Sunday was completely awesome. I was a little concerned when the Raptors turned over the ball a few too many times in the first quarter but they came back strong and reminded the Mavericks whose city they were in and that in Toronto, Raptors run the show!!!
Last year the sprite zone was a draw because they gave out a jersey each game ... for whatever reason they are cheap this year and there isn't a giveaway this year. Beyond that - great game as the Raps destroyed Dalles by 22.
Took my son for his 15th birthday, his first time seeing a live sports event. It was an awesome experience I'm sure he won't soon forget. It made the 8-hour drive totally worth it! Great venue, had a good view of the court from our seats in section 308, fun music and atmosphere; good service, friendly and helpful staff. We loved the Raptors Mascot (truly entertaining) and all the give-aways. The Raptors' win just sweetened the day! The only thing we didn't enjoy were all the people constantly getting up to go to the washrooms or get food/beer during the game... We had aisle seats and it was brutal. Next time, middle of the row for sure!
For my twins 14th birthday, we went to the Raptors Vs Mavericks game, and we couldn't ask for more. You could feel the energy in your seat. Great win, Toronto Raptors
Arrived a few minutes late to the ACC. Had to go to Will Call to pick up the tickets, the counter should have been more clearly marked though. Went to the automated kiosk next the to the pick-up window and someone was there to help so that was good. Found our seats quickly and we really enjoyed the game. The atmosphere was very positive and fact that the Raptors won made it even better.
I had never been to a professional basketball game before and am not a huge bball fan, but I found the game very entertaining!
My only trip to the Acc this b-ball season, but watch on TV. This has to be the best Raptors game this year; so lucky to have picked it to see in person.
My son went with his dad to see this game. He had talked about going to a basketball game for the last couple of years so we got these tickets for him for Christmas. He couldn't stop talking about the dinosaur dancing, the Raptors winning by a lot, and the amazing shots of the players.
I orderd my tickets online and 'will called' my tickets. When we got to the ACC the line up was huge. One of the customer service guys asked me how I purchased my tickets and then suggested I use the automated teller to retreive them. It was awesome, I skipped the line and printed my tickets at the ATM within 3 min of walking in the building... wicked awesome! Then the Raptors smoked the Mavs. Johnson 15 impressed the crowd with a slam dunk and few more wicked playes. Then my daughter go to shoot a ball from the court after the game....we had a blast!!!
Sitting at the 300 level is definitely more exciting. True fans that cheer!
Coming into the game, I was concerned that Dallas was a very strong team and that the Raptors would struggle on defense. As it turned out, they were in control for most of the game. The atmosphere was electric and provided a great afternoon of entertainment.
The Raptors have been playing really well in the last 20 games and there was nothing better than to be able to see the game that NBA writers considered the Raps best overall playing!! Can't wait for the next game!!!
We have been fans since day one and we know the Raptors would play with their hearts on their proverbial sleeves, as usual. It was fantastic! Edge-of-your-seat action, excitement, drama, and in the end, a wonderful memory.
I went to the game as a part of a visit from the UK. I hadn't seen a game for a while and enjoyed the playing and fan fair, yet was disappointed by the cheerleaders. First of all, they don't seem to encourage cheering at all and second, what does pole dancing have to do with basketball?!? I think their role has evolved beyond their usefulness to the game. The kids we far more entertaining.
This was our first game and we absolutely loved it!!! Score was so close and the fans were really hootin and hollering. Great time. Can't wait til the next chance I get to go again.
We had amazing seats and were really happy with the venue. To bad the Raptors lost! I would defintely go to another game.
The game was entertaining would have been better if Kevin Garrnett was playing. Just a hint for tall guys if you are sitting behind the nets and your seats are in the curve there is very limited leg room. I was very uncomfortable as I am 6'6". Our seats were section 104 row 12 seats 8 and 9. Other than that can;t wait for our next game, just not in these seats.
Excellent game, would have enjoyed more if the Raptors had won but great family outing.
Great game - great energy from the fans...love the Raps!
