TORUK - The First Flight Tickets

Best Circ show yet. Told a capturing story that held our attention through the entire show.

We would not consider this in the same class as cirque du soleil. The real Cirque has you on the edge of your seat saying "wow". There was no wow factor in this performamce it was a very boring show and we left during the intermission. It was a waste of our money.

Cirque du Soleil never stops in surprising me with their shows.

It was a very nice show , perfect location in the Rogers place , my only comment that the show was too short

I've seen several Cirque shows live and televised and I have to say that I was disappointed with Toruk, The set, costumes and music were beautiful, stunning really, but the performance lacked the usual circus appeal. They had a few small acro segments that weren't half as impressive as the other shows I've seen and it seemed like all the main characters did was run in circles around the stage (with a cartwheel here and there) while the technical artists behind the scenes stunned us all with their amazing computer tricks. I didn't come to see a video and light show though, I came to see the performers and I think they were cheated out of a potentially amazing opportunity to shine. The other thing I didn't like was the audience interaction. At first I was stoked about it, being able to use an app on my phone to join in on the visual experience, but I soon abandoned the idea when I realized that I would have to spend the whole time staring at my device for the notification to participate rather than watching the show, so I put it away. Over all, I LOVE the idea, and I still love Cirque du Soleil, but maybe this time they stretched themselves a little thin.

The set was amazing. Visually awesome. Story was average.

First half extremely boring. Would not recommend unless you're seeking a place to fall asleep.

Stunts were great and looks so fluid. Would watch cirque du soleil show next time they are back in town.

The props were outstanding but the storyline average. In comparison to other Cirque de Soleil shows we have seen it was ok. Really no amazing, jaw dropping acrobatics just a lot of running around done by the performers.This venue reminds me somewhat of KA but without acrobats.

One of a kind. Las Vegas would not be any better. Fantastically choreographed. But not suited for children under 10.
