The Trooper concert at McPhillips St. Station was great! Their voices still sound good, and they put on a great show. Very casual atmosphere. Every song was a hit!
I would definitely go see them again. This is one group that can keep the crowd entertained - the leader's voice is still as good as it was back in the 70's and that doesn't always happen! Way to go Trooper - you guys can still rock with the best of them!!!
This was a great concert! It was really intimate and personal! I would definitely do it again!
Everyone had a great time even 18 year old kids that came out were of all things mosh pitting on the dance floor. Good time had by all, Toke my older brother with me, his first concert was B.T.O and Tropper when he was 16. Would recommend to everyone to go and see from old to young. Great night, great friends and great party.
This was the second time that we saw Trooper in the last couple of years, and my husband and I enjoyed both shows. Sound was not as balanced as it was the first time, more guitar and less vocal, but still, the boys sure know how to put on a show.
It was kind of disappointing, didn't recognize as many of the songs as I expected. The sound was poor, we didn't even stay for the whole performance. It just wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I wouldn't spend the money to see them at the grotto again.
They were full of energy and played so many of their best songs!
Trooper was amazing. They really know how to interact with their audience and make everyone feel like part of the Trooper family. Seeing them in a small venue like the Grotto is ideal. You get to be up close and personal with them. Wayne shared his beer with an audience member, everyone in the front row got his sweat on them. It was the best show I've been to by far!
The show started waaaaay too late. We were told they were on from 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and they didn't get on stage until 10:45 I wanted to stay for the whole thing because it was good, but due to the fact that I had to work early, I only stayed for 4 songs:(
The band came on much later than expected, and stopped playing much earlier than desired. I enjoyed when Ra informed us that he is now an avid acid user. That was super neat. Also, when he handed me a full beer, or when he told me he loved me. These made up for the 17 minute show that I, for some absurd reason, was forced into paying $40 for.
