Trooper was great ! They put on an awesome show, did all the big hits plus a few more. I'd recommend to any fan they a are must see band.!
I never got a chance to catch these bands in their prime. But was so glad I saw them. The show was great, forgot how many great songs Tropper had, the other acts were great too
Great concert, awesome space to see a band like Trooper. Not a bad seat in the room! Trooper, Prism , and Saga brought back lots of great memories of my youth! Only complaint would be that it would have been so much easier to leave the building through the doors directly outside of the hall instead of travelling back through the casino-they got all of my money on my way in!!!
High energy. Fun night. Warmup was excellent (Winnipegger so I am biased) - highly recommend
I was so dissappointed, the band was so loud could not hear the vocals by Ray McGuire. He has an incredible voice, it was a waste. The keyboard solo was too long I saw.Trooper live in Surrey for July 1 celebrations 5-6 years ago. They were fantastic.
I wasn't terribly impressed with the opening band but Trooper was worth waiting for and did not disappoint! From start to finish, it was a high energy show! Each band member had an opportunity to show off their talent and be appreciated by the audience. When crowd sang "Raise a Little Hell". McGuire looked a bit emotional as he looked at audience and his love of music & appreciation for fans was obvious.
This was my second time seeing them. As before a great show!
Great concert but Music was to loud for the small venue It overpowered the vocals
Thought the lead singer was drunk at first which I'm not convinced he wasn't. 2 breaks of at least 10-15 minutes long so only ended up singing for actually 35 minutes and sang one of the same songs twice! Waste of money and time. I have also never rated a concert so harshly before but I drove in an hour each way to see that.
The opening act - Orphan/Pumps was very good , showcasing why they still rocking it 4 decades in Trooper put on vibrant show with fine variety of songs, hits and even a new one. Plus highlighting their player with hometown roots The venue has excellent sightlines and sound Was still decent from 2nd last row .. Tkts easy to get and decent price. No dealing with bots stealing all the good seats and reselling at exorbitant prices
I fond the band over whelmed the singer. Difficult to hear sometimes, Also his mic was not loud enough to hear him well over the band. Also sound was muffled. Voice did not come thru clearly, They can do this when singers are on stage being televised, why not here? Blame the sound tech guys
Our group of four said it was the worst concert we have been at. The music was so loud that we couldn't understand any of the words to the songs. It just sounded like noise.
Lead singers voice is still as good as it was in the 70's!
Tthe voice synthesizer was actually annoying however probably had to use it to boost up the quality of the vocals.
We enjoyed the songs that Trooper sang but the music was so loud it was hard to hear the singers and it had a tinny echo to it.
Show was good, the band trooper very entertaining. The pumps were okay getting old.
Concert was good but way too loud for a venue that size
Trooper wouldnif been good if the music did not drown out the singers. You could not understanding a word theynwhere singing.
Excellent music and loved the old songs I had many years ago ..... would see them again!!!!!
