  • Amazing U2 eXPERIENCE

by Melrebel on 2018-06-12NYCB LIVE, Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 5 out of 5

What a great show! The band...the songs...the sound (the SOUND!!!)...the video images...the stage set-up...the lights...the messages...women of the world take over (yeah!)...the meaningful spectacle...the venue...love...the energy in the room - from the band and the crowd...a visit from MacPhisto...watching the crew at work from the side of the stage...having an awesome view of the band...the AR experience with the U2 app before the show started...the other fans: all were incredible. U2 does not disappoint. That concert was a treasure.

Overall great show, I just wish I was closer to the action.

  • Great show for our family - Father's Day early

by Brento on 2018-06-12NYCB LIVE, Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum - UniondaleRating: 5 out of 5

Dad and his 22 and 25 year old sons made a road trip to see this show that did not disappoint. U2 is a band that we can all agree on despite differences in age and musical tastes. We all came away enjoying the band, the music and the great stage show.

  • Bono's music was great, but the rest...

    by Jeff179120 on 2018-06-07Bell Centre - MontrealRating: 4 out of 5

The music was out of this world. But we could have done without the politics. Bono and U2 put on quite a show Tuesday at the Bell Centre in Montreal. It lasted three hours and included more than 20 songs played on a series of stages at each end of the arena and even up in the rooftops. The show was energetic with constant movement, changes of tempo and some impressive lighting. The constant changing of stage locations also gave all the fans a great chance to view the action. But it also featured one of Bono's speeches of praise for Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau - something we probably could have lived without. At this performance, he praised Trudeau for advancements in women's rights and his work to house and take care of the world's oppressed. He said Trudeau was "providing the world a light in a very dark time." The music started with Love is All We Have Left and included Gloria, Beautiful Day, Until The End of the World, Desire and more. What it didn't include was "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". Maybe, that's because Bono hasn't. The singer was once a critic of Trudeau's over women's rights, poverty and the prime minister's costume dress-up days. Now, he seems to be a strong supporter of Trudeau. We didn't really need to hear that. What we needed to hear was the music. And we heard plenty of that. The show was almost three hours long and included 24 songs in all. Not a bad bang for the concert goers' buck. But take away the speeches and this show would have been just about the same length as most concerts. And we could have done without the speeches.

  • U2 in Chicago - fun fun

by HaliTheRising on 2018-06-02United Center - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

We made this special by taking time off work to ensure we were on the floor, front rail main stage. So of course the view and vibe was great. Other than the show starting late due to a technical issue we had a great time.

  • U2 never disappoints

    by 80smom on 2018-05-30Bridgestone Arena - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Don't be fooled by the recycling of the stage set up from the Innocence tour; this is a whole new show, a bit of theatre that must be seen! Bono and the boys are in fine form and do a superb job of reaching all corners of the arena throughout the show. GAers may want to focus on the outside rail in order to see the screen and the band. Anyone wondering why there is only one Canadian stop on this leg will understand by the end of the evening; this leg is aimed squarely at our American friends, combining wake-up call, call to action, and message of hope. So good that I did not even miss live show anchors like With or Without You and Streets, which is usually my high point of the night. Wish I could afford more shows this time around! Crossing my fingers for a second North American leg that might include Little Things. Thanks for an awesome night in Nashville, U2!

  • U2 did not disapoint

by Jorth on 2018-05-21The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

U2’s show was amazing. Bono’s voice is still great and the stage was incredible. The sound in the Forum was also very good. I would see them again and again if given the opportunity.

  • Huge step backwards

Obviously not the 360 tour (which was amazing), but this was a real let down.

  • Good concert

by SJGuest on 2018-05-14SAP Center at San Jose - San JoseRating: 4 out of 5

Very solid concert. Nothing earth shattering or breaking through though. U2 as always deliver the quality sound with highly social aspect in their performances. I wouldn't call this a "show" because it was more focused on specifically selected set of songs and talks about modern society problems: violence, racism, gender inequality, etc. Bono tried to address the issues with current USA leadership and lack of politeness in it (let's put it this way). That was accepted ok I guess, being in San Jose. I wonder how that would fly in more conservative states... Anyways, I did enjoy it. But was surprised people were not jumping/dancing/singing too much.

  • U2 was amazing

If you like U2 a little, you will LOVE them after this show! This show.... The first half was like being at church, during a happy wedding of people you love and adore.... I was emotional, reminiscing, nostalgic The second half was the reception... a total party! I was happy, elated, singing, jumping and dancing What an experience I'm in love with this show! ❤️

  • There are no words sooooo Good.

It was amazing!! U2 has been on my bucket list for years! They sounded so amazing, the energy in the crowd was hard to explain unless you were there. We had floor "seats" and we didn't stop dancing and singing the entire concert

  • Great SHow

by habsrule999 on 2017-09-09New Era Field - Orchard ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Originaly in sec 306, row 38 seat 8. at the very top but my view was blocked almost completely. I could only see the right 1/3 of the stage. Seat was not sold as "limited view" so what gives. Luckily I was able to see someone from customer service and I was moved to sect 309 row 20 and all was good. Beck was great and played for about 40 minutes. Then there was a longer than expected wait before U2 took the stage. Not sure why but it was worth the wait. Having already seen this tour in Toronto I knew what to expect and thye did not disappoint. All in all an amazing show..

  • U2 Wooh-hoo

by Limeylad on 2017-09-09New Era Field - Orchard ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Was a wonderful nostalgic set. Hadn't seen them before, but they still got it. Great live show, vocals, graphics, and politics made for a big impact night of rock. High energy, emotional and value for money experience

  • U2 is a life experience

I can remember attending the same show 30 years ago... Fabulous show I do enjoy U2 but, for me the Joshua Tree & Rattle & Hum are my favorite albums....If your thinking about GO GO GO it's worth every penny. They still sound GREAT

  • U2

This band is amazing. They sound like they do on the cd. The sound was mixed excellent. You could hear the vocals over the instruments. They had hi energy, an amazing stage and back drop. Overall so cool.

  • Dissappointed

    by a7g29 on 2017-09-04Rogers Centre Toronto - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

Growing up this was hands down my favorite band...it felt like I was watching lesser version of the band I saw at exhibition stadium in Toronto back in 1987...I guess time always wins and these guys just don't rock it the way they once did, it was sad to hear Bono's voice trying to belt out some of those Joshua Tree classic's, save your money and just listen to the Joshua Tree...you will thank me.

  • Great concert but credit card entry is meh!

by Sluman on 2017-07-02Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Great show. U2 never disappoints. Seven encores tells you how serious they are. Only they can pull off a video wall this large too! I don't like the credit card entry process. Slows everything down and you need to fill a 30,000 stadium as quickly as you can. With a printed ticket, staff just scans and you're in. With a credit card, you need to swipe, wait for approval, then ask if everyone one at the party has arrived, print the ticket before you can enter. Slow it down 3 times.
