Vancouver Canucks History
The Vancouver Canucks started play in 1970, entering the league along with the Buffalo Sabres. Vancouver has been to the Stanley Cup Final on three occasions, though they lost to the New York Islanders in 1982, the New York Rangers in 1994 and the Boston Bruins in 2011.
Despite humble beginnings, the Canucks continued to develop. With the arrival of three key players — Captain Trevor Linden, netminder Kirk McLean, and "the Russian Rocket" Pavel Bure, the Canucks had a winning Playoff run season — making it to the 1994 finals.
The Canucks continued to acquire superstars like Alexander Mogilny and Markus Näslund, and while the following years meant a series of losses, it allowed for the team to draft Henrik and Daniel Sedin, who would go on to lead the Canucks to Presidents' Trophies in back-to-back seasons in 2010-11 and 2011-12, as well as their finals appearance in 2011.

Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena
The Vancouver Canucks play their home games at the 475,000-square foot Rogers Arena, which also played host to the 2010 Winter Olympic Games where Sidney Crosby scored the “Golden Goal.” A staple of downtown Vancouver, the Canucks played their first game at the arena on October 9, 1995. Other notable events that have taken place at the arena include the 1998 NHL All-Star Game, 2019 NHL Entry Draft, and in October 2002 when Queen Elizabeth II dropped the ceremonial first puck during an NHL exhibition game between the Canucks and San Jose Sharks. Additionally, the arena played host to Games 1, 2, 5, and 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals.

Perfect !! Just a cheap way to have fun. Unfortunately my budget doesn’t permit me to watch the actual playoff on stadium so this watch party was amazing!!!
Definitely worth the hype! Had an amazing time and will be going back for sure if I get the chance :)
I enjoy the atmosphere and experience. Go Canucks Go! They are amazing! King Silovsss!! I love this city! Woohoo!
It was an electric family friendly viewing experience.
Went to a viewing party and it was so much fun!!! Felt like going to an actual game! The atmosphere was amazing and we were entertained the entire time! Would totally recommend to anyone!
Great in game experience, great presentation, great staff. Only downside is the pricey concessions.
Great energy and they did a great job keeping everyone entertained and hyped up during commercial breaks.
Such a good environment and experience for so cheap!
the atmosphere and audience excitement have been off the charts great. A unique and unforgettable experience. Great for all ages. In that regard, the band i thought was not aligned with the overall demographics of the audience and was too loud. The DJ was unnecessary- we’re here to watch hockey including intermission analysis and the other key games, not to go clubbing. staff off the charts fantastic! thanks to everyone and go canucks!
It was great family friendly event . The energy inside the arena can’t be beat!
It was so much fun to view the Canucks playoff game with a full arena.
Incredible!! So much energy in the arena that night!!!
Such an amazing for the whole family! Go Canucks go!!
Almost better than a live hockey game! The crowd, entertainment and the HUGE screen made very second of this experience worth it. I would highly recommend going if you can, I’m already hoping the Canucks make it to the next round so I can go again!
Great game, not the outcome I had hoped for but Go Canucks Go!
We were in the 500 club. Food was great, atmosphere was electric. Game was a lot of fun with the exception of the outcome.
While watching game 1, Canucks vs Oilers, I decided to check out the Ticketmaster site for a seat to game 2. SUCCESS! The game was fantastic and Rodgers Arena was electric.
Love it, fun atmosphere with others fans of the Canucks
Better than any regular season game. The viewing party energy was unreal
Every bit as good as the 1st! Keep having them until the Canucks win the cup.
