Having been three times now over the course of five years, this is now almost a "must" for me every time I come to Vancouver. The show is always entertaining and funny and the actors are so talented. For $20, this is easily one of the best nights out in Vancouver. If you liked "Who's Line is it Anyway?" you will love this!
This was not funny, it was long and drawn out - I think the people on stage had more fun than those in the audience watching the show! I would not recommend this to anyone and would not go again. At some points during the show, we had no idea what they were even talking about on stage - it made no sense. We walked out during the intermission and decided that we would have more fun on our own and never went back to watch the remainder of the show!
Improvivor was such a great time. They were professional and fast and able to laugh at themselves all at the same time. I recommed this to anyone who needs a good laugh and something different to do.
Great Cast, amazing talent, and full of laughter and stories that has you coming back for more.
This was a great way to spend a laugh-filled evening with friends .The actors were on the top of their game, and next time we would stay for the later show too.
You know when your cheeks hurt upon walking out the theater doors? That spells a night full of laughter and you just watched a phenomenal performance. That is how I felt after watching Improvivor. The best part: I can go back anytime and it will be different. Every showing is different scenarios and every night has different cast members playing. If you like to laugh or feel the need to laugh - Go see it!
We go to the Granville Island Vancouver Theatre Sports quite often and it's honestly quite cheap and HILARIOUS!! it's not like stand-up where it's 1 person and they might not be that funny! it's skits with 6 funny funny people and they involve the audience- a great Vancouver thing to do!
Such a great show! - super fun, the audience was great. I really wouldnt recommend bringing your kids though :)
As always, Theatresports delivered an outstanding evening of entertainiment, plucking sidesplitting comedy out of thin air and random audience suggestions. I even got to hop up on stage and participate (seems like this happens a lot!) and it was tons of fun with no demands for comic brilliance on my part (not that I didn't try). Got some free tix for my trouble as well. Improv is by nature hit or miss, but these pros hit more than they miss. Highly recommended.
It was my first experience watching the stand up comedy live, and I love it. Definitely recommended.
The show was fabulous, the actors were very talented , I had tears of laughter, they were very funny. The show was technically very good, the games were entertaining. Really enjoyable experience, I will go again.
This has been my 3 improv show at the Revue Stage...and I can honestly say the Stretch Wednesday group was the best team I have seen. Dont go on a Saturday...the first two times I went on a SAT and was sorely disappointed.
Improvivor Granville Island was very entertaining. The performers were extremely talented and funny. I laughed for the whole duration of 1 1/2 hrs. Highly recommened to anyone who wants a great laugh and who appreciates perfomers' natural talents.
This was not the one of the best Theatresports events I have been to, I have seen so many and this was a bit of a let down, there were a few good laughs but definitely not a bellyache that I have been used to in the past.
