About

Volbeat are a Danish metal band formed in Copenhagen in 2001. Composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Michael Poulsen, bassist Kaspar Boye Larsen and drummer Jon Larsen, Volbeat have grown from early success in Scandinavia to international fame with several Billboard 200-charting albums and RIAA-certified platinum singles like 2010’s “A Warrior's Call” and 2016’s “The Devil's Bleeding Crown.” Volbeat released their debut album The Strength/The Sound/The Songs in 2005, followed by Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil in 2007 and Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood in 2008. The group broke out with 2010’s Beyond Hell/Above Heaven, Volbeat’s first to hit the Billboard 200, while their follow-ups Outlaw Gentlemen & Shady Ladies (2013) and Seal the Deal & Let's Boogie (2016) hit subsequent career peaks at No. 9 and No. 4, respectively. Meanwhile, Volbeat have logged 10 No. 1 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and earned a Best Metal Performance nomination for “Room 24” at the 2014 Grammy Awards. In 2025, Volbeat announced their ninth album, God of Angels Trust, along with their seventh headlining tour, Greatest of All Tours Worldwide.

    The Volbeat show with Three Days Grace and Wage War in London, Ontario was amazing! The vocals were clear, the sound was excellent from where I was sitting, and the light show complemented the music, songs, etc. I have much respect for Michael Polsen and the band for their excellent showmanship. We really enjoyed when Michael called all the kids onto the stage to jam with the band near the end of the show. That was a highlight! Absolutely loved the Volbeat show! ❤️🤘🥳🇨🇦

    All the bands did amazing! I was there for all 3 of them (well, maybe more Volbeat), and enjoyed every moment. I felt bad for Wage War and Volbeat though 'cause the audience was acting like melatonin-induced zombies and wouldn't listen to Wage War and Volbeat's requests to raise their hands, or form a circle, or something. Then when Three Days Grace shows up, the people go nuts and end up listening to their requests instead. I understand if those people were there for Three Days Grace, but come on...They could've at least supported Wage War and Volbeat more...Hope to see Volbeat again some time in the future.

    Second time seeing them. Truly an amazing band who put on an interactive show for fans
