Wanda Sykes Tickets

The comedian that opened for her was amazing. Wands was great as usual highly recommend it.

Enjoyed her show. Many many laughs. She knows how to get the audience going. Her introductory act was also a very funny man. Great show. Love her.

We have watched Wanda through the years and absolutely love her, but I have to say her performance at Rama was lacking. I would imagine stand up comedy is one of the hardest things to do but she almost seemed unprepared. I have seen her standup act on TV and found her funny but for some reason this was not her best performance. I didn't catch the opening act gentleman's name but we found him absolutely hilarious! I could have watched him all night!

It was OK. I've seen Wanda on TV and she was funnier. But, I think she was trying out new material and paused a lot, searching for her words.

We laughed had a great time would definatly see her agian

Wanda seemed to be 'off' and ended abruptly on a mediocre note. Opening act was better.

Wanda started off weak and then got good..until at 65 minutes into her show, she ended a joke and then said "thanks for coming. Good night." She waved and walked off the stage. A very abrupt ending. Sadly, the opening guy was funnier. First time seeing Wanda and likely the last for the price that we paid for the tickets. I would expect at least a 90 minute show.

Our group was somewhat disappointed by this performance. THe opening act outperformed Wanda; he was hilarious; his material was current, relevant and his delivery and pacing kept the audience laughing out loud through out. Wanda in comparison, was kind of slow; her material was entirely about her family members, family vacation. Her pacing was slow. We kept waiting for her pace to pick up and get funnier. She is funny naturally, and she is very likeable onstage re her personality, but we expected more material than just jokes about family matters. It was mildly funny.

She was hilarious. I love that she tells stories instead of "jokes". Her timing, combined with her facial expressions work so well together. She's a finely-tuned comedic genius. I'm not sure what had me laughing more -- the part about her son's big head or serving meals to all the white people in her house. I had never seen her live before and so happy I went. That made me go on to Youtube and watch some of her other shows and they were equally funny. My only disappointment was that she didn't come back for an encore but who wouldn't want to see more? Keith Robinson as her opening act was VERY funny and a perfect combination package for a fun night.

I have been a fan of Wanda's previous stand up performances, but this recent show was not good. Her opener was hilarious which saved the show. She seemed to continually lose her train of thought and it just didn't flow. Maybe having 2 young kids is sucking up her energy and creative juices. I was expecting edgy, but was bored and if it hadn't have been for her opening act the night would have been a right off.

Arrived a few minutes late so didn't hear the name of the comedian who opened. He was great, had us laughing hard. It seemed to take Wanda a while to warm up and just when she got going it was over. Her whole set was about her wife and kids. Not really that funny. Some jokes were better suited to Americans. I think she needs to work on her material. Not worth the $$.

I have seen her before and was really impressed with her comedy but this time I was not laughing but more almost ready to walk out. She was not very funny this time around and was actually kinda boring. There were a few funny moments but they were very few and far between. It isn't cheap to go to these venues and we did not feel we got our money's worth at all. The guy who came out before her was way funnier. He brought the audience into his show and spoke about current events and topics people in the audience could relate to. I don't remember his name but I would go see him again!

Unfortunately she was not as funny as I thought she would be. The lines were based on her White wife and white children, dry moments where I thought she lost her concentration. The 1st act was much better. I did not even have one gut splitting laugh while listening to her.

Wanda Sykes wasn't as good as the opening act. She had a couple funny moments but used material that's been used before. We expected more than she delivered.

I was looking forward to seeing Wanda Sykes as when I saw her on Ellen, she was hilarious! I was a little disappointed, she seem tired, not that interested in being there. She was ok, not what I was expecting. I was so excited to go with my husband because I raved about her to him, again, disappointed. She made me laugh a little, the guy before her was having a better night. Maybe she was off that night.

Boring! Old material! too much wifey! No audience interaction. What a waste of money.

I seen Wanda at Casino Niagara Fallsview and her opening was Keith and he was funny and pissed someone off when he talked about "Catholic Priest" and there was some words back and forth........he's not afraid to talk about any issue!! Very Funny Wanda was wonderful and funny but instead of "adlib" as she performs, I think she should have something more structured in her comedy routine to get more laughs. I was kind of disappointed at the comedy, but I will always see her when she tours this area!!

The opening act Keith Jackson was pretty funny. He did a great job. Wanda was pretty funny herself. She was not as funny like she normally is. But she was entertaining all the same. I would go see her again, but she needs to do a better job.

The warm up comedian was funny as heck. Got us in the mood. Wanda was as expected, hilarious. Talked about real life and gave us an hour or so of some sit back and laugh humor. Would go again.
