Wanda was in great form. Loved her new material. Nothing is off limits, and she puts her own unique spin on everyday things. The anecdotes about her family were hilarious, as was her unique take on her body.

The opening act was really good, did not know there was an opening act. The main event with Wanda was really good too! Best to view the stage from head on.
Awesome. Amazing. I love Wanda! Would see her again in a heart beat but next time, I'm paying extra for better seats.
Fantastic show from start to finish. Her material was fresh, funny and relevant. We were pleasantly surprised by the opening act.
We went o see Wanda Sykes last Saturday in Albany, NY. The show was good but compare to other shows we havee seen fom Wanda, she seemed tired, not really into it. The show also seem like it could have used a little more preparation. BUT, we know Wanda just had a double masectomy, so it can't be easy for her to be back so soon. We can only hope as time goes by she will get more energy back and can continue making us laugh our hearts out. We wish her onl the best

She was a little slow at first but she had us all laughing so hard we where crying..
Her opener was so hilarious the whole way through. You would not be disappointed. Wanda rocks in person just as she does on Television. So happy we got to see her live.
She was fantastic. She used a few of her usual bits but seeing her in person to do them made them as funny as the first time hearing them. Her opening comedian was also hilarious. I love how Wanda talks about her age, her kids and her marriage with her wife openly, honestly and just as disfunctional as the rest of us :)
This was the second time we've seen Wanda Sykes live. We saw her last year at the same venue. She is a very funny lady and we're happy she was coming back for another show in Vancouver. Unfortunately, she must have forgotten that she was here last year because she used a lot of the same material. She should realize that she has a fan base that will go to her show when its in town and she should have delivered all new material. It was about 50% new 50% old. The new stuff was hilarious. The old stuff was hilarious the first time around but we felt a bit cheated hearing for the second time.
We laughed for 2 hours straight (no pun intended). Ms. Sykes was superb. Her imitation of her son will stick with us forever. The opening act, Keith Robinson was also great. What a combination. Thanks for a super and insightful show.
We really enjoyed the evening and laughed a lot. Some of the language might be objectionalble to some, but the material was excellent.
Loved the warm up act, but had already heard most of Wanda's routine before, so did not find her all that amusing. Added to that I felt her energy was low and sloppy

She had everybody in the theatre bending over laughing. My partner and my necks and heads were almost hurting for hours afterwards, due to the hour and a half of constant big smiles and laughter. Wanda says crazy things that we humans think about but wouldn't dare say! She's really out there! If you haven't heard her before, check her out on YouTube, and then go see her live at River Rock next time she appears!
Wanda is great. Started off a little rough, but she got into her grove early on and was steady laughs throughout the show. Highly recommended!
Though she seemed to pull it together during the last half of the show, Wanda really seemed to struggle at the beginning with many long pauses and a lot of repetition.
We didn't realize there was an opening act and he (although we missed his name!) was fantastic! He really got the energy going - I'm going to need to look him up for future shows. Wanda Sykes got off to a bit of a slow start but had us falling off our seats once she got going. Only downside to the event was all the drunk showboats in the audience. I paid to see Wanda Sykes, not some no-name drunk. Would be nice if River Rock could offer a little more control over this. The entire section we were sitting in were complaining about it.
I haven't laughed so hard in years. Next time I'll take lots of tissue to wipe the tears from my face. The most enjoyable comedy show ever!!
