Wanda Sykes Tickets

3 of us went, and rated 1 star/2stars/3 stars. The warmup act was in my judgment terrible [racist, sexist, angry, demeaning and unfunny]. Wanda seemed to have problems controlling the noisy parts of the crowd, relied a lot on lowest common denominator stuff [toilet humour goes only so far], but warmed up somewhat at the end [by which time I found the seat definitely uncomfortable]. A work in progress and for me not yet worth the $$.

Last night's show featuring Wanda Sykes was very good, with many, many gut busting laughs. Obama as the new Prez, her new life as a married partner and her new kids and just stuff in general were the main themes. The only problem my wife and I had with the show were those in the audience that kept shouting out comments while Wanda was on stage. It seemed to throw her out of any rhythm she had and ruined some of her timing. FYI - the shouting out seemed to have the same effect on the opening comedian's act, too.

We saw Wanda Sykes last night at the River Rock Theatre. The venue is great! Stadium seating, great view from anywhere. Wanda was very funny, she had a bit of a slow start but had us in stitches in no time. I was laughing so much, I was crying. She is very witty and even had some good comebacks to the heckler in the audience. I would definitely see her again.

Second half of act was great, once she got past all the american references.

I really enjoyed the show, she is a very good comedian. My friends and I had tears coming out of our eyes. The opening act was very funny as well.

We've seen some very funny comedians at the River Rock but I don't know if we've ever laughed so hard and so long! We laughed so much we couldn't STOP laughing! Wanda Sykes had us in tears from laughing! We'd see her again in an instant.

The show was great. A lot of heckling which kind of messed up her routine but other than that a great show.

Wanda was amazing, though the crowd heckled too much. It was an amazing night, she is an incredible woman and I would definitely go see her again.

Started off a little slow but after about 10mins, I was laughing so hard I had tears streaming down my face. Very funny lady! Need to stop the audience from yelling though, too many interuptions and breaks in the comedy.
