About

For over three decades, Weezer has dominated the rock charts with power-pop hooks and the emotive lyricism of singer-songwriter Rivers Cuomo. The multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning band is among the genre’s most prolific: Weezer has sold 10 million albums in the United States and over 35 million albums worldwide, including 1994’s Weezer (aka the Blue Album), which is consistently ranked among the best albums of the ‘90s. Their catalog of 15 studio albums includes MTV-era hits such as “Buddy Holly” and ‘00s anthems like “Beverly Hills,” a multi-platinum Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 single. Following critically-acclaimed albums in 2016 and 2017 — including the Grammy-nominated White Album — Weezer released a viral fan-inspired cover of Toto’s “Africa” in 2018. In 2022, the band began releasing SZNZ, a four-EP series inspired by Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. Meanwhile, the band embarked on the Hella Mega Tour with Green Day and Fall Out Boy, selling out stadiums and grossing $92.2 million worldwide, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore.

    "Weezer"A Crowd Pleezer!!!

    by Netski0864 on 2023-07-07

Enjoyed a sold out show at Budweiser Stage. No problems getting into the venue. Took the Go train instead of driving. My first time seeing Weezer perform live and I was NOT disappointed! They played over 20 songs!! The visuals were enjoyable, like the dashboard of a car. Loved everything about my experience. Thank you Weezer!!

    Incredible Show by Weezer!

    by Indie Fan on 2023-07-07

Budweiser Stage along the Toronto lakeshore was treated to an incredible performance by Weezer on their "Indie Rock Roadtrip"tour! Great show from start to finish! All the favourites on the set list. Big energy. Crowd fully engaged. Incredible vibe through the whole venue. Opening acts Future Island and Joyce Manor were great choices to get the crowd ready for Weezer. And the stage! Wow! If you get a chance to see this tour, get your tickets!

by Future islands fan on 2023-07-07

3rd time seeing Weezer. First time in 20 years. Did not disappoint. Great setlist. Very cool stage set up. And they sounded amazing. Both Openers were great. Already a big Future Islands fan. First time getting to see them and they put on a great performance.

    Sound check…

    by WeezerGal on 2023-07-07

I had lawn tickets for Weezer at Budweiser Stage, it was very poor sound quality in the back, we could barely hear the lead singer - at one point there was even a crowd chant “turn it up, turn it up”. A bit anti-climatic.

    Great Except for 5 Songs

    by Vinney on 2023-07-07

The event got SO quiet that people in the back on the lawns had to start screaming 'TURN IT UP!!!!!' so we could simply hear the songs. I get they were 'slow songs', but the sound engineers were bad. The concert was generally quiet already. So when Weezer came out and asked if they should turn it up around Song 3 or 4, I thought man FINALLY! It'll be loud. NOPE. It was like going to a concert that was at a 6 or a 7, up to an 8. It never got to a 10 in loudness. And I go to concerts about once per week-ish. Some friends were bored as they could hear conversations, they didn't even need to get close to someone's ear. It was almost as if the lawns were ignored all-together Robert Plant played the next day with people sitting down and it was louder there.

    Weezer was fantastic

    by mumbly on 2023-07-07

Wow loved Weezer! The energy and fun generated by this band is fantastic. The opening act Joyce Manor was also excellent! The other opening act, FutureIslands was pretty horrific but that could just be me not "getting it"but couldn't wait for them to be done. All in all well worth the time and money to see Weezer!

    The worst sound at Budweiser

    by Greg on 2023-07-07

Sound was practically inaudible at times. At first it seemed like part of the show with Rivers turning up the volume knob but it was still quiet.

Band was great sound was not

    by Dan on 2023-07-07

I have been to many concerts at Budweiser stage and I love to sit on the lawn and almost always have a great experience. However this time even though we could tell the band themselves sounded great anytime they did something slightly more quiet we couldn’t hear anything.

    Budweiser Stage - terrible sound

    by JLG on 2023-07-07

We’ve seen Weezer many times. They rule. The sound at Budweiser Stage July 4, 2023 was so awful it was hard to enjoy the show. Couldn’t hear the bass. The sound was absolutely awful. Not Weezer’s fault - they still put on a good show. Whoever was doing the sound should be canned.

Only if it was better organized and louder

    by Dev on 2023-07-07

I was in the lawn area and we couldn’t hear them, crowd was screaming to be louder. Overall it was great! Maybe next time they organize in a way that the people in the lawn can hear properly too!

    Amaze-Balls

    by ErikaStephanieDawn on 2023-07-07

Bought the tickets on a whim and couldn't have been happier with this show- Rivers Como is in peak form; the sound and effects were fantastic and super enjoyable. Best show of the summer so far for me! 10/10 would see again!

    Weezer

    by AJ on 2023-07-07

We were on the lawn and could barley hear what song was playing. The lights and speakers were not working. People in the crowd were shouting “turn it up”. Someone Aldo passed out on the concrete and it took over 10 minutes for a medic to show up. Worst show at this venue yet.

Phenomenal performance at an awesome venue

    by Al on 2023-07-07

Starting with the venue, Budweiser stage is likely my favourite live music venue in the city. The amphitheatre like bowl makes sound travel well no matter where you're sitting/standing. One thing that certainly needs to be improved is departure procedures. It takes ages to get out due to all the bottlenecks. It would make more sense to have folks leave section by section to reduce overcrowding. Weezer themselves were absolutely incredible. They played all the hits and sound just as great live as they do in studio. Their stage is beautiful, really keeping a theme for the tour. The best part was that you can really tell they're having a good time up there. They aren't simply going through the motions despite this being nearly 30 years of performing.

Weezer smashed it out of the park!

by winston905 on 2018-08-07White River Amphitheatre - Auburn

One of the best concerts I've ever been to. The whole show was pretty much an amphitheater-wide sing a long with the whole band putting on an incredible show, including some great solos and great crowd interaction.

    Amazing.

by jogiloew on 2018-07-18Budweiser Stage - Toronto

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. Going in I was more excited for the Pixies, who delivered exactly what you’d expect, but then I heard the Happy Days voice introducing Weezer and it felt like I was watching Much Music in the mid 90s all over again. Such a great show. So much good energy. 13/10 would do again.
