This concert was amazing! After 35yrs, David Coverdale has definitely still got it! The band had great stage presence and interacted constantly and talent- these guys were off the hook! There was great music, great humour, and great showmanship. David Coverdale is one super-cool dude! Oh, and the drummer reminded me of Animal from the Muppets! :-)
The concert was less than an hour and a half which turned out to be a good thing because the vocals were horrible. The instrumentals were good but took up more than half the concert. He was more interested in passing his booze around the front row than performing. Worst concert I have ever been to. Save your money.
Four of us went to see Whitesnake on July 27th and were very disappointed. First of all, the show didn't start until 9:15 and ended at 10:30, during which time he kept talking to the audience about his Canadian apple juice and included in that time frame was about 20 mins of guitar and drum solos. I believe they performed about 6 songs in total and of course, no encore. For the amount of money we pay for these tickets, we just expected a little more.
I enjoyed Whitesnake.....i felt like i was 16 again :) The show could have been longer, but was amazed That the ol'boy(coverdale) still has the stage mojo!!! Good Times!! BTW.....Canada makes great "apple juice". :)
DC took us back and forward thru the last 35 years with electrifying intensity as only he can. The sellout crowd were in the palm of his hand and he squeezed hard! Whitesnake Forevermore!
Boring, felt like we were at a rehearsal instead of a concert! Too much time spent talking not singing!!
Great show, good old power rock... Only draw back was they combined Slide it in with Slow & Easy so to me it was getting only half of 2 great songs, just say,in.
Great show from a premiere act. Coverdale did not dissapoint. Tommy Aldrige is a beast on drums one of my faves.
The ONLY reason I would ever recommend this event would be for TESLA.They are without a doubt,the best band of these two.They should have been headlining and they should have been allowed at least one encore.And then out comes the fat,lip-synching,has been David Coverdale.I was sooooooo disappointed in his performance,that we left after three songs!He wasn't singing,the band and the crowd were!!!!Tesla rocks Detroit,every single time......
Both Bends very good. Coverdale awsome. Happy to see him.
Tesla should have headlined and played more songs. Whitesnake was weak.
David just can't do it anymore...my wife and I enjoyed ourselves but David just can't project that voice anymore.
get rid of the guitar fillers cut your shows in half and do a better job
Yeah, i went to see them. Unfortunatley I was running a bit late, got to the show about an hour and 15 mins into it only to realize the show was over. They were walking off stage when i got to my seat. Thank God they came out for an encore or I would have missing the whole thing. I NEVER thought that the concert would last just over an hour or i would have just stayed home. An hour and a half drive, a hundred bucks to see one song. Must say i was very disappointed. I know they are getting old but i thought they would play a bit longer than that!
David Coverdale and boys did not disappoint! What a great show! They played all their hits from 80's + 90's along with new songs from Forevermore. David Coverdale has aged very well and his voice is still there! Would recommend seeing this show if they come to your town! This was the only Canadian event on their tour and we were fortunate to see it!
After all these years, Whitesnake still puts on an amazing show. Well worth the price and the drive to see there one Canadian date.
Right of the top, the sound was way way way off! It was so loud and distorted, it was hard to tell what song they were playing?? David, I love you and I love your voice, but I have to say the concert was a disaster.................................. I was really looking forward to this concert. You have so many amazing song out there and was looking forward to some awesome singing and an even awesome band........... You couldn't even tell from what instrument was playing........................... I had to come home and right away put on some Whitesnake so I wouldn't come away from that concert so disappointed!! Sorry, but there was four of us and we all said, the samething....... Too loud and distorted.... Either the sound guy needs to be fired or whoever gave the kudos that the sound was okay??? Very Sad, Kimbo a go go
Seeing Whitesnake for the first time and at Casino Rama was awesome. Hope they come back to Rama.
David Coverdale sounded amazing as did his band... The show rocked from begining to end! Great interaction with the crowd. Would have been fun to hear a few more classics but overall fun show...
It was a great show from start to finish. Coverdale sounds great and the band is tight. Coverdale is an entertainer and did a great job.
