    White Snake still have it.

The band was awesome but the crowd wasn't into the concert. The crowd was a little boring. The only thing about the concert that I didn't like was that it was very short, they didn't play long enough for your monies worth.

    Only canadian date

    by One1 on 2011-08-20Casino Rama - Orillia

Whitesnake was great. I got up to the front left part of the stage and I saw Reb Beach up close. A good guitarist. Looked like he was having lots of fun up there. The stage presence by the band was awesome. It didn't seem loud though. The Ted Nugent concert this past saturday was 5 times louder. They played most of there hits so I was quite satisfied. Forevermore sounds like it will be a good tour for them. Coverdale was on top of his game.

    Not bad, too short

by MotherFigure on 2011-08-20Casino Rama - Orillia

Considering it was at Casinorama (as their only Canadian date) it wasn't bad, but was quite short (about 1hr and a half). The drum solo was awesome. It was a little cheesy that they wore their own "Whitesnake" shirts and announced a few anniversary couples from the audience. All in all not bad.

    Whitesnake Casino Rama

by blugirl on 2011-08-20Casino Rama - Orillia

It was very exciting to see these guys live. These guys are all great musicians but I think they have had a litlle difficulty with tuning or monitoring for this particular show. Maybe they couldnt hear themselves properly because at times it seemed a bit out of tune or maybe I'm just going deaf from too much loud music. lol

The show was a huge dissapointment. The sound was very bad, I think that the drummer was too loud. You couldn't hear much of guitar rifs or Dave'd vocal. It was hard to recognize old songs, the new ones were just the noise, terrible. Is that due to the bad arena acoustics, but Deep Purple played at the same place couple of months ago and the sound was very good. In addition, they played only four old good songs. The guitar/drummer solo were not necesary. Overall, I was expecting much more.

    Rama not for Rock bands

by ChillyWilly on 2011-08-20Casino Rama - Orillia

Rama sound was disappointing. Coverdale has lost his advantage over plant as those high notes are gone and replaced with screams! No alcohol at Rama. Chairs are so uncomfortable! No opening act! Short performance! Ampitheatre is the place!
