Whoopie Goldberg was amazing, funny and brutally honest. What an amazing show.
What a breath of fresh air with a character so real!! She had a great stage presence and she involved her audience. I felt as if she was in our living room. Her mike could have been located better. Her hair kept hitting it.
Watch Woopie everday on the View..love her on that program and was exicted to see that she was coming close to home. So I decided to go see her at Casina Rama with my husband. She was amazing...very funny lady..love her...
My husband and I were most disappointed at the subject matter at this evening's show. We know Whoopi can do so much better than talk us through female matters that my husband definitely did not want to hear about.....
Dream of a lifetime to see Whoopi Goldberg in person. Amazing comedy from a talented genuine person.
What a woman. So witty and couldn't believe the things that came out of her mouth.... so true to woman and menopause... I can say that I can tick of one of "bucket list items to do and see",,, Whoopi,,, thanks for an entertaining night...
Foul mouthed and not funny. Save your money. Didn't laugh once. Lots of material about female related troubles that men cannot relate to. Some of the women seemed to think it was funny or they were embarrassed and giggling. I believe it was the latter. Pathetic.
My wife and I thought she was great, funny, with amazing timing for her jokes. Her humour was mostly directed at herself, and the menopausal issues were hilarious. She answered some of the "dumb" questions from the audience with humour. We had heard that she was "potty-mouthed" which was true, but she could pull it off, unlike other comedians that we have seen.
love whoopi, so honest and down to earth...felt the whole show was more geared towards women, and men seemed uncomfortable, that said she is obviously not using the crazy material that she has in the past, but still enjoyed seeing her and listening to her insight. the only complaint i have was the seating, as had never been to that theatre before found the location totally inadequate and for anyone under the height of 5'5..was impossible to see the stage.fortunately we had a great usher who found us a seat closer and was able to see great. would definately assess the seating situation if i go back to that theater...
We really enjoyed our evening (90+ minutes) with Whoopi! We went expecting what she gave out and I laughed for the first 45 mins straight! Thanks Whoopi! Come back soon Only disappointment was that for patrons paying the FULL price of a ticket had NO Chance to have a meet and greet with Whoopi yet the people who WON tickets and did NOT PAY were given that priviledge.....would like to see that change.....and an opportunity for more paying people to meet and greet the stars if they do that.
Whoopi was amazing and would recommed her show..seats were good had a lovely evening
I wanted to see Whoopi because we are the same age and figured she would be totally relatable. OMG!!! Was I right !!! Her "talk" about menopause was so bang on it was scary. She was describing exactly what I am going through and over half of the audience too. After listening to her menopause experience I realized we have more in common than our age! Well worth the money and I would see her again in a heart beat.
Whoopi was hilarious. The show was awesome. She was very gracious and humble.
Great show really enjoyed it! Would totally recommend seeing her.
What a wonderful entertainer. She is who she is and tells it like she sees it. Just like sitting around with someone you have known for ages and talkin' about "stuff". Very gracious with some silly questions and statements and a very silly request to "rub my baby belly for good luck" really! This is a renowned actor with a list of awards longer than your arm. Thank you Whoopi for a wonderful evening and I hope you come back to our area to preform soon.
Great show, down to earth, a little raunchy but not over the line!
While I enjoyed the show, I felt for the men in the audience. Her choice of topic was extremely explicit and we girls got a great laugh even though some lines bordered on vulgar!! I look at Whoopi as an experienced knowledgeable professional especially with all the awards she has accomplished; and her regarded position on 'the View'. She certainly has many sides of her. Next time I would go with girls.
What an amazing lady! Whoopi handled her show so well. My cheeks were sore when It was over and I don't mean the ones on my backside. Unfortunately, the show I was at had a medical emergency but Miss Whoopi handled it with class. She is A1 in my books! I saw her later in the Casino and spoke with her very briefly but what we talked about was a mutual awareness for cool and funky shoes. You see, when Whoopi was on Oprah with the cast of A Colour Purple, Oprah commented on Whoopi's shoes and Whoopi mentioned where she bought them. I was in New York and went to the shoe store and bought shoes there and I wore them to the River Rock on Friday, Aug.10th (my b-day was on the 11th) and when I saw her in the Casino I told her to look at my shoes. She did and before I could say anything else, Whoopi said "Oh, Irregular Choice" and I was tickle pink! She knew where they (the shoes) were from. This was the best birthday present to myself that I could have had on my birthday.
This is a wonderful show, soooooo funny! She is a amazing women!
Fantastic show she is very funny and down to earth, would love to see her again if she comes back to Windsor
