Blue Jays in Winter! So Much Fun!

by RIX on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

We’re (young) seniors who are Blue Jays fans and love the game of baseball. Having this event really helps in our countdown to Spring Training. The Staff is so helpful. The different events are well-planned and exciting. i love that the players and Alumni were out there walking around.

    Amazing

by Ljtwirl from London England on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

I attended the Winter fest on Sunday, all the staff was friendly who I met and was willing to take photos and very helpful when purchasing the new blue jersey in the Jays shop. It was great talking to the kit man who filmed a short video of me and my dad wishing the players good luck for the season. Best I of all I got to met my favourite blue jay which made my day. Attending this years Winter fest has been worth every penny flying over from England hope to come back and get to watch some matches during the new season. Thank you again for a great day.

    Great family event

by Mama bear on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

This was our first year at this event. Its a great family event (especially for Blue Jays fans) with lots of activities. If ur lucky u even get to meet some players (we were not). My only complaint would be the coat check. It was efficient and organized but there was only 1 coat check. Would be nice to have a few in different sections of the rogers centre. Wait was about 30 mins.

    Wonderful Winterfest!

by Whitbyfans on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

We were impressed with Winterfest! We truly wish that an event like this was around when our kids were younger! It was well organized and entertaining! Getting to interact with the Jays players was really fun! We watched Cito Gaston and Robbie Alomar give an interview! Highly recommend this event to all fans! There is something for everyone!

    Room for improvement

by Ruthie on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

Autograph session logistics for wristbands etc needs an overhaul. Great interviews and stage games are super fun and entertaining Some players were visably miserable and just did not want to be there no matter what they said their facual expression and body language told a different story - disappointing. Staff in general could not wait to get out of there and was evident as they shut everything down 15 to 20 mins before the end. FINISH WELL is as important as the rest of the time if not more.

    Winter fest 2020 Sunday

by BlueJayFan on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

What a great day. Was able to meet a number of Blue Jays face to face. Interviews were great to listen too. Good day and nice to know money goes to Jays Care Foundation.

    Amazing time

by Colin on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

This was the 2nd year we have attended winterfest and it was just as amazing the second time as the first. This year we had my mother in law and nephew join us in attending. And they had so much fun that on they way home they were already talking about going back next year. As always great job to the team that organized the event.

Good experience but pack your patience

by Elsa on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

There was a lot of variety. The kids really enjoyed it. The novelty for them was the wax hand. However, the line ups were so long most of our time was spent waiting in line, something children do not do well. Seating areas were a nice addition, suggest placing some seating areas around children’s activities so parents have somewhere to sit and wait. Kids missed the Ferris wheel.

by Penquin on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

My grandson looks forward to this event every year. What a great event to be on the field & be able to interact with players & use the facilities. Bullpen, dugout etc. Price of $5 plus toque. 👍 FABULOUS!!

    Great Event...but...

by Faro on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

I've been going to Jays Winter Fest since it opened. It's a great event and I would continue going as long as they have it. It's nice seeing players from the past, present and future. Just on suggestion for the autograph session; for those who purchased tickets; can printed tickets be made available instead of lining up to get your wrist bands & then lining up again for your autograph session. The printed ticket should have the time of your autograph session; the section you need to be in & what time you should arrive to your session. The staff member waiting at the designated autograph area should be able to scan each ticket for entry. Other than that the event is and has always been great!

    Family outing at winterfest.

by Corey on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

It was a great day. My kids absolutely loved every minute. The only thing we didn’t realize was that you need to purchase separate tickets for autograph sessions, so we don’t get to meet a lot of the players. Besides that it was great, and so many things to fill your day there.

Had a Great time with all of the Grandchildren!

by Mal on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

For the most part the experience was fantastic. There was a lot of activities for the grandchildren to participate in. There were lineups for most of the activities but none of them were too bad. The grandchildren had a great time. We were glad to see that they opened up the gates a little early and added an extra gate as it was extremely cold outside Sunday morning. The only letdown for the whole experience was the Dugout deal experience was not available and as a result, the cost for food and drink was very expensive. You would have thought that for an event geared to children that there would have also been better low cost meal options.

    Getting in was horribly planned

by Reviewer on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

On Saturday the activities inside the dome were good and my daughter had fun. Getting into the dome was horrible, badly organized and disrespectful to fans. Only two entries were open making entry very long and slow, especially in very cold weather - horrible planning.

    Great Family Fun

by BrianP on 2020-01-22Rogers Centre - Toronto

Great activities for kids of all ages. Did the combine with my son, got tossed some BP, saw how the field/bases/dirt is readied for games. Lots of free stuff for the kids. Will make this an annual family activity.
