Had a very good time, about a thousand fans showed up. She did about 16 songs, but as always sound issues. Didn't take any pictures or videos, Security guards would not allow you to take full videos, kept telling one fan to stop filming. There was one visually impaired fan and she looked like she had a good time, her boy friend protect her from being crushed. She sang songs.
Overall a great concert and a good venue for it. Biggest two problems for me were horrible audio levels during most of the 1st part of the concert (audio techs, please listen to them for 2 mins from any previous concert and you'll know that the main vocal needs to climb way above the instruments for the desired effect with this band). And 2 - not enough of their older stuff - new stuff is decent, but too pop-like; they're starting to sound like new delirium, not enough presence and identity. Still a great night =)
Very goog show as always, only one thing that was not good is the sound, theire was a lot of distorsion on the right side of the stage comming from the speakers This was also the case for the opening act 3.

By far the best show I have seen in a long while. To begin with, the band's music is incredibly beautiful. They perform with such energy, and with such a high level of musicianship, it is sometimes hard to remember you are listening to a live performance. Sharon's crystal clear and powerful voice is astounding (and she is gorgeous to boot!). The balance was perfect, the lighting and video backdrop were interesting and well-coordinated. Métropolis is always an enjoyable venue to spend an evening as well.
They were AMAAAAAZZZIIIINNNG. Cant wait till they come back again!
My husband and I have been dreaming of seeing Within Temptation live for a few years, we are musicians and Sharon is my inspiration and we finally got to see them, hopefully it won’t take another few years before they come back – Ottawa, ON would be great too, the people there are more civilized! (we saw them in Montreal) The show was awesome but we found that it was way too loud for a small place like Metropolis, when the guitarist, Robert hit the first note on his guitar, the hair on my arms lifted straight up and I felt a lot of electricity cross my body, it was a weird feeling, we had to push back further. We waited way too long before they got on stage, the Metropolis opened at 6:00 and the first group started at 8:00, then Within Temptation at approximately 9:20 – almost 3 hours and half went by so sorry to say that waiting that long played with our patience and when they got on stage, my husband and I almost wanted the show to be over, we where tired plus most people there had no manners, we got pushed, kicked, hit by the people around us, it was like they where looking for a fight. I had a teddy bear I wanted to give to Sharon, the signer, but because of the people around us, I never got to give it to her, and we where just a few steps away from the stage (that was before we had to push back). My husband and I are very sad that it turned out into a deception for most of it, especially because of the people’s stupidity that pretty much ruined our evening but our dream did come true and we are thankful that we saw them but we would like to see them again, perhaps next time in Ottawa, Ontario. They really rocked!
It was wonderful. Great show, loved the place. Only problem was I'm so small, everybody was taller than me so it was hard to see! But everything else was great. It was easy to buy drinks and stuff, and WT was amazing! Unforgettable!

For all the concerts that I been to this is the best. I wish I have another opportunity to see them again . I love Within Temptation best band ever!!!!!!!
The band was totally on - great mix of tracks from the previous albums and the new. Awesome musicians; each had moments of bliss - Sharon's vocals rising above the guitars and keyboard weaving their magic . The drums/rhythm propelled their voice. Definitely playing for their audience, not just for themselves. Two encores.
Within Temptation was amazing! I think I love them even more now after seeing the show!! The only thing that sucked was the tall dude who squished himself in front of me, so I couldn't see anything but the back of his head. Other than that, they rocked!
Howdee ho, I could not give a higher glowing recommendation if I tried! I just HOPE and HOPE that they come back to Toronto SOON! I could easily have seen this show back to back it was that incredible! Thanks, L
A lot of Americans wrongly compare Within Temptation to Evanesence and nothing could be farther from the truth, especially in the live setting. To be frank, this band flat out rocked. The enegry throughout the entire venue was huge and Sharon really knew how to get the crowd rocking along with them. They played a good variety of songs from all of their releases except Enter and incorporated the old songs well into the entire show which was divided up by movie clips revolving around the Unforgiving concept. All and all, if you think Within Temptation is a rocking and powerful band on album, you need to see them live. The only dissapointment was that they didn't play Frozen, but that's just personal preference. If I had one recommendation it would be for more crowd interaction between songs. Other than that, money and time well spent.
