The WWE is the world's largest wrestling promotion corporation. Founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1953 as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the organization now hosts more than 500 events per year across the globe. In 1982, McMahon’s grandson Vincent K. McMahon bought Capitol Wrestling and was fundamental to turning the WWE into a widespread and enduring sports entertainment product.
Initially, McMahon built up the WWE roster with future superstars such as Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura and launched the organization’s annual marquee event, WrestleMania, in 1985. Over the years, WrestleMania has offered plenty of unforgettable moments like the Hulk Hogan-André the Giant championship match in 1987, the generation-shifting face-off between Bret Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in 1997 and The Undertaker’s 21-year winning streak at the event. The WWE will celebrate the 40th annual WrestleMania in 2024.
By the late ’80s and early ’90s, there was a full roster of hardcore brawlers, including Shawn Michaels, Hart, Ric Flair and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who were later joined by a new crop of “Attitude Era” stars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and Mankind as the organization grew into a touring juggernaut. Another infusion of talent joined the WWE during the late aughts and early ’10s, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.
The WWE continued to reinvent itself as it created the separate Raw and SmackDown brands in 2002, launched various offshoot brands including the ECW and WWE NXT and introduced a 24/7 streaming network in 2014. The companies behind the WWE and mixed-martial arts promoter Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) merged into TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

Amazing Wrestlers was entertaining The crowd was very excited.didnt wait long to get inside building.
Had a blast, even got an autograph from Cody Rhodes. Overall, it was a lot of fun. The SuperShow was slightly better, but would still recommend.
Best live show I’ve been to. The matches were incredible and I really enjoyed each entrance. Seth Rollins was super nice to everyone and I got a picture with him which made my night!
This event was so much fun and well worth the admission. Would definitely go again
The show was solid full of crowd pleasing surprises. My son and I had an awesome time.
Loved it . But was too short .❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰😍😍😍😍🥹😎
Went to Montreal holiday tour. Many wrestlers were very engaged. Sami and KO spoke to the crowd, Seth Rollins saw everyone in the first row either giving an autograph or taking a picture. 10 matches, got more then my moneys worth
My 11 year old made a sign and everything because Bianca was supposed to be there 😢 Fun night.
B-/C+ at best. The Becky Lynch/ Trish Stratus match was a total bomb and the night's Main Event wasn't much better. All of this after a couple of 8-10 minute blocks of nothing as it was 3 minutes of commercials sandwiching a 3 minute promo from one of the talent. The previous Smackdown show here was exponentially better and it's only a 2 hour show. Goes to show you that longer/ bigger isn't always better. No Edge, no Brock Lesnar, over priced merchandise along with limited selection of the largest sizes. Woop-dee-do that you had a special Winnipeg Raw shirt for sale, was there anything over an XL?? Will have to think about attending another live WWE event, but if history holds true it wont be for another 15-20 years and by then I may not care about wrestling at all. And that's all the people need to know!!
Paid for VIP package but there was no meet and greet prior to the event. Arrived at the show only to be told that the VIP pack that we were to receive along with our seat wasn't there. Now almost a month later and I still haven't received it. Any decent picture opportunity during the event was blocked by a fan sign. Would not recommend the VIP pack unless you get 1st row and want no other "perk".
It was an enjoyable experience and a great time to spend watching the saga of WWE performance.
The event was great! With Sami and K.O. the crowd was quick to applaud and scream and it was like that until the end! Now that we got RAW, a PPV would be even better!
First time going to a WWE live event. The energy of the crowd was explosive and influential. It was the first live showing in Quebec City, and boy did the Quebec crowd really ignite. Every cheer, every chant made you join in with the crowd. All the fights were great. The only disappointment was the female wrestler fights didn't last more than 5 minutes. I would give it 5 stars if there were more female fights and they lasted longer. I had floor seats near the ring entrance, so I was able to see the stars come in and reach out for high fives. But sadly they all seemed to miss me— until it was the end of the show and Cody Rhodes was the last to leave. Instead of giving me a high five, he HELD my arm, gave me a smile, and went on to do the same for other fans. Then he CAME BACK down the aisle and was taking pictures with fans. We took a selfish together and honestly I couldn't have been more happy. It made my night go from great to excellent. I hope this happens more often with other superstars. I will be a Cody Rhode fan for life.
le show était excellent super on doit en revoir d'autres
An experience you have to live once ! Pure entertainement !
I attended the WWE Supershow with a few guests on Saturday, August 19th @ CT Centre In Ottawa. It was a House show (not televised). It was exciting to see some of the top WWE stars in attendance to wrestle, including but not limited to: Becky Lynch, Seth "freakin"Rollins, Charlotte Flair, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Iyo Sky, Drew McIntyre, Rhea Ripley, & Cody Rhodes, to name a few.. Pacing for the show was great, even between matches there weren't long delays. The entertainers briefly interacted with fans @ ringside before, during, & after the matches. It was nice to see & it wasn't overbearing. There was an intermission mid-way through the show, which was convenient for merch pick-up, food/drinks, or a pitstop. The main event was Seth Rollins Vs Finn Balor in an "Ottawa Street fight"(lol). Kendo sticks, Chairs, & Tables joined the fray. The crowd was energetic & melodic with Seth Rollins' theme throughout the match. The bout ended as expected & it was overall an exciting event to watch. In conclusion, we enjoyed the show & look forward to seeing another WWE in Ottawa. Please return soon! Note*: The star deduction was for the venue, not the event. Prices for food/drinks are insanely high (I understand: inflation, venue profit, etc - doesn't mean that I have to agree with it).
I've already attended to the last two WWE SmackDown shows in Montreal and couldn't wait to attend WWE RAW for the first time! It was literally a blast! The crowd at the Centre Vidéotron was fire! My girlfriend and I were excited to see Owens, Zayn, Ripley, Rhodes, McIntyre and many other superstars in live action! I'll definitely be there again at the next event :) Thanks WWE and see you soon Quebec city!
Ayoye ça frappe dur.,, bon show, expérience à répéter
Seeing WWE (WWF) was dream I had as a kid, and even if I knew only one wrestler out of the whole bunch, this was one hell of a show! Everything about this whole experience was top of the line! The huge screen and the lighting were perfect, and everything was well executed to make this night perfect. We had 4 hours of high quality entertainment. I really felt something, thanks for everything, and until next time, wooooooo!
