The WWE is the world's largest wrestling promotion corporation. Founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1953 as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the organization now hosts more than 500 events per year across the globe. In 1982, McMahon’s grandson Vincent K. McMahon bought Capitol Wrestling and was fundamental to turning the WWE into a widespread and enduring sports entertainment product.
Initially, McMahon built up the WWE roster with future superstars such as Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura and launched the organization’s annual marquee event, WrestleMania, in 1985. Over the years, WrestleMania has offered plenty of unforgettable moments like the Hulk Hogan-André the Giant championship match in 1987, the generation-shifting face-off between Bret Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in 1997 and The Undertaker’s 21-year winning streak at the event. The WWE will celebrate the 40th annual WrestleMania in 2024.
By the late ’80s and early ’90s, there was a full roster of hardcore brawlers, including Shawn Michaels, Hart, Ric Flair and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who were later joined by a new crop of “Attitude Era” stars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and Mankind as the organization grew into a touring juggernaut. Another infusion of talent joined the WWE during the late aughts and early ’10s, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, CM Punk, and Becky Lynch.
The WWE continued to reinvent itself as it created the separate Raw and SmackDown brands in 2002, launched various offshoot brands including the ECW and WWE NXT and introduced a 24/7 streaming network in 2014. The companies behind the WWE and mixed-martial arts promoter Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) merged into TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

WWE Survivor Series was amazing the vibe was great and they put on an amazing show!
Great event with entertaining matches. The crowd was amazing.
It was so different being there and seeing all the matches live and worth the price I paid. Favorite matches were, of course, the ladies' and the main match. Disappointed Damian Priest didn't win the title against Gunther. If another event like this comes to Vancouver, will definitely go again!
Entertaining!!…………………………………………………………………………………………..
The show was incredible. The experience of a WWE PLE is well worth the price of admission and then some. The staff including WWE, security, concessions, ushers, everyone was incredibly accomodating and I can’t say enough. Everything was first-class all the way around.
Everything was great except the lights pointing into the upper bowl were very uncomfortable.and made it hard to see. You would get use to after a bit but between matches they would turn off and then come back on for the next match and you would have to get use to it again.
Great time at the event with no issues or concerns ! Great staff working with smiles and amazing greetings . The show was amazing so was the crowd ! Good for kids and adults.
Ok, so biggest advice I can give is come prepared to have a production poll set up right in front of you if you sit in the section that I did in 121. It’s nice that WWE is pushing as many ticket sales as they can in the TKO era, but they still need to set up scaffolding and staging, which means the bottom right corner from where the wrestlers walk out is going to be where their production teams and equipment is set up. I still had a great time and enjoyed being in the building for the event, but a production poll needed for staging was legit obstructing my view for the majority of the show. Also, if you are an avid fan of WWE, don’t sit near or along the isle seats. In an age where WWE actively encourages content creation at events and making posts on socials with pics and videos, I had security come up to me and yell at me to get off my phone saying “you can’t record that”. To me, this was pretty unfair as I looked to the section next to me and in the middle there was TONS of people recording footage on their phone. Security just couldn’t go after those people as they were in the middle. This isn’t on WWE, however, more/less the Arena staff not understanding how pro wrestling differs from other sporting events.
Was a great experience, surrounding crowd was loud
Never would have thought we would get a Premium live event (PLE) from WWE in Vancouver and at that one of the big 4 ppvs! Survivor series delivered! I really loved the war games match concept, I really felt like a kid again in the 90s watching the old wcw fall brawl war games matches! Every match on this card delivered and in particular I loved the iyo sky trash can moonsault spot. She was the MVP! Loved the bloodline vs bloodline 2.0 war games match! I really hop in the future going forward that WWE comes to Vancouver often, they often go to Toronto or Montreal. I really hope we showed the world how Vancouver can bring it on big shows such as this! The crowd energy was amazing!! Can’t wait to see another WWE show!
THIS IS AWESOME! Great show hope they come back soon
Loved it.. pls bring more shows to Vancouver. We love Wwe and all its shows.
Great seats great entertainment if you haven’t been to a live WWE PLE stop waiting you won’t regret it. Had a great time with my wife and we will be doing it again.
I’ve been to many house shows and been to a raw before, but the survivor series PLE experience was unreal. Highly recommend a PLE! If you have opportunity do it!
My daughter & husband went, they had the best time!!!! It was the 3rd live event they have gone to and by the best!!!!
Overall a good experience but not enough food selling in Rogers arena. Lots of opportunities to buy your alcohol but limited food areas to buy. Crazy to have closed areas for for such a big event. Not as many washrooms as I was expecting in my section as well.
I went to smackdown twice, one in Calgary last year and this year in Edmonton . Calgary was so fun we saw edge and it was a blast. In edmonton we went only to see Cody Rhodes it was great! I would go again 100%
The last time I went to a WWE event was in 2019 before Summerslam, and coming back was such an amazing experience, first was smackdown and I absolutely loved it so did my uncle. Next Was Heatwave and sitting rampside was an experience I couldn’t even describe. I loved seeing the future of WWE and Seeing Trick Williams. Best part I was seen on tv and I couldn’t believe that happened. Can’t wait for WWE to return
I had great seats for this show I could see all the Wrestlers coming out and going backstage afterwards just such an amazing experience and show
WWE. Was amazing it was really something to see in person. Highly recommend
