The WWE is the world's largest wrestling promotion corporation. Founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1953 as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the organization now hosts more than 500 events per year across the globe. In 1982, McMahon’s grandson Vincent K. McMahon bought Capitol Wrestling and was fundamental to turning the WWE into a widespread and enduring sports entertainment product.
Initially, McMahon built up the WWE roster with future superstars such as Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura and launched the organization’s annual marquee event, WrestleMania, in 1985. Over the years, WrestleMania has offered plenty of unforgettable moments like the Hulk Hogan-André the Giant championship match in 1987, the generation-shifting face-off between Bret Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in 1997 and The Undertaker’s 21-year winning streak at the event. The WWE will celebrate the 40th annual WrestleMania in 2024.
By the late ’80s and early ’90s, there was a full roster of hardcore brawlers, including Shawn Michaels, Hart, Ric Flair and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who were later joined by a new crop of “Attitude Era” stars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and Mankind as the organization grew into a touring juggernaut. Another infusion of talent joined the WWE during the late aughts and early ’10s, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, CM Punk, and Becky Lynch.
The WWE continued to reinvent itself as it created the separate Raw and SmackDown brands in 2002, launched various offshoot brands including the ECW and WWE NXT and introduced a 24/7 streaming network in 2014. The companies behind the WWE and mixed-martial arts promoter Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) merged into TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

Great experience, Great time and great way to spend the date night with tge girlfriend
Both Shows were great but Monday night was our favourite
As a lifelong WWE fan, having followed it since my teenage years in Ireland, I never had the chance to attend a live event—until now. My experience at WWE Raw exceeded all expectations. Almost every seat in the arena offered a fantastic view, making it feel immersive from any angle. The show was highly interactive, which was especially fun for the kids in the audience. The pacing was flawless, and the 3.5 hours flew by before I even realized it. If you're thinking about going, I can't recommend it enough—it’s definitely worth it!
A WWE live event is great. The live production is very cool to see!
Had a good time. The ticket on my phone worked perfectly. The show was awesome. Thanks Miz. But next time. I will spend the money. This time. Bought an inexpensive seat. 2nd balcony. Last row. Very corner seat. Got exactly what I paid for. So next time. I'll know better. Really. Only stayed for 2 hours. Figured. If I was going to watch it on the big screen. Ring was to small from the seats to see. Might as well go home and watch it on my TV screen. Did however. Manage to get myself a brand new hitman hockey jersey from the event. Been a fan for the last 50 years. So just because this time it didn't work out in my favor. Will always be at the l live shows in the future.
I throughly enjoyed the show. It was great to see Brett Hart back in the ring and so nice to see Guenther boo’d. can’t wait for WWE to come back again.
Wwe was a really great show, I was just a little disappointed in the saddle dome not being as wheelchair friendly as most other venues
Raw was amazing!! Absolutely perfect. The 20 dollar Ticketmaster fee was ludicrous! That is way too much for simply running a website. It should be like 5 bucks. WWE and The Saddledome did all the work for that night. They deserve the fee! WWE, keep up the good work!
It was awesome but alittle expensive on the items and food but it was great
The show was awesome. It was my first WWE raw they ever went to and watching it live and watching on TV. It’s totally different. I wish I had a been little closer because everybody was standing up and you couldn’t see much but the big Tron you could look up and watch it, I had an awesome time getting merch in the reasonable prices that you can get merch and stuff. Yeah it was a great experience. I enjoyed myself and I hope they come back to Calgary again.
I had a great time. Seats were great but my view was obstructed by the guy in front of me as he’s so much taller than myself and the giant prime bottle that was in front of us.
I have been a wrestling fan since I was little I always watch Raw & Smackdown since they appeared on TV / I even recorded it and watched it again the next day Raw was awesome can't wait til they back again
My Boys love wwe and they were just in Amazment thier eyes were just glued they put on an amazing show and growing up on wwf myself it was just as great for me as well will deff be returning to the next one in Calgary
Wasn't impressed with the cost of floor seating vs view.
Was good show, had tickets in upper bowl and found it hard to get anything since everything was downstairs. No food or drinks up top.
Venue had broken down equipment and escalators. Card was mid at best.
What a fun show, amazing crowd, and constant action. will go again!
The event was amazing and was quite the experience seeing superstars in person compared to TV. My brother and I had the time of our lives! The crowd was full of energy and we enjoyed chanting. Edmonton Staff were generally quite polite, however, they were sometimes being random with enforcing rules. For example, a girl was standing on her seat in front of us and we were unable to see. We then also decided to stand up. The security came in and asked us to step down, but initially did not bother asking the girl in front of us to sit down. He did not ask her to sit down until we asked him multiple times. Rules are rules and should be enforced for everyone, rather than it being targeted.
Not as many big stars as one would hope for the price.
It was amazing to see in real life the show me and my kid often watch on TV, great energy, the production was executed perfectly, kid loved it, and I truly enjoyed my quality time with him!!
