    Absolutely the BEST concert ever

by 20somethin on 2010-10-06Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

It was funny picturing the rock band at QE Theatre, but they definitely brought about a GM place kinda atmosphere. The crowds were responsive, X japan always makes music awesome, even if I didn't know the songs... The crowds were quite engaged. It was the best ever and I can't wait for them to come back!!

    X-Japan: my dream come true!

by jaycheer on 2010-10-06Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

X-Japan vibe still lingers in me two days after the show. I was first exposed to the band 13 years ago. I was not blown away by their music or anything, but I just really liked it a lot. Living in Vancouver, I never thought I'd be screaming "X", jumping up and down with my arms crossed X. I felt like my blood was spurting in the opposite direction everytime they began playing their old songs. I still can't believe I listened to X-Japan performed by the band itself right in front of my naked eyes with my naked ears. My dream came true that night of October 3rd. Well, one of many dreams anyway... Definite happy moments!!

    We are X!

by Anonymous on 2010-10-06Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

The event is fabulous! From the visual set up to the audience and of course, the performers/musicians were all excellent and touching! I love the fact that X Japan showcases a wide variety of music genre in their songs and each band member is so unique to watch on the stage. Despite the small arena for X Japan to perform, the audience can truly and better see the essence of the band. This concert will be one of the best concerts/music festival that I have ever been to in my life.

Can you bring me good old X-JAPAN back?

by RCHeo on 2010-10-05Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

by far the worst concert I have ever been. I have been to numerous decents concert just let you know. such as Coldplay, Muse, Jason Mraz, Keane, The Killers, Snow Patrol, Oasis, Franz Ferdinand... Sound setting was so terrible. it was way so high pitched that you could barely get the lyrics. Performance was poor. Toshi's vocal was never like how it used to be. Yoshiki's drum pattern was so simple. playing same thing over and over. just try to look cool by pouring tons of water on himself. New guitarist was alright. Pata seemed like he was not enjoying the gig at all. i can't imagine any geek being worse than this. can't believe they just ruined my 10 years fantasy like this. And the opening act? Are you sure you guys are professional? seriously grow up man. it was such a gong show. I was just shocked that they do music to make their lives. I drove alltheway from Edmonton in saturday morning for this show. It didnt worth anything.

For 14 years, I finally had this once in the life time chance to see them in person. Jade was great opening thru all the music......Endless rain actually brought my tears of remembering HIDE. It was great and unforgettable that a band like them just like KISS/ACDC/ROLLING STONE.....thank you so much memember of X....WE ARE X!!

    Watching Legends

by kairu on 2010-10-05Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

X Japan was absolutely amazing. Every song they played had amazing sound and drew the audience in, everyone had a good time. It was like seeing legends of music perform in front of you. I never thought I'd be able to see them in the flesh but I did. The Queen E. was probably a small venue for them, but I thought it only served to make this tour even more special. The size of the venue made the intimacy with the crowd even stronger and the acoustics even better. The fact that they are able to go from full on metal songs next to sappy sappy ballads is a trait I have never seen pulled off by another band. I believe anyone could go to an X Japan show and enjoy something. Music appreciators would be able to admire their musicianship, and others could appreciate their showmanship. Overall it was an absolute honor to see these guys perform. It was an even greater honor that they actually came to BC

Amazing show indeed. From the set to the band to all the X classics. They left nothing to be desired except it ended too soon. Yoshiki and Toshi had not lost their touch, each had their own style of showmanship. Toshi's voice was still amazing as ever, andbYoshiki's alwas stayed in the industry. But his soliloquy in English was heart wrenching, and when he mentioned hide he knew we all had him on our mind. X Japan is truly a great band and it's good to see them back together after twenty years.

This was an unforgettable concert. The energy was great, the music was great, and the crowd was great! Been to a lot of other rock concerts (Bon Jovi, ACDC etc) but this one ranks right up there.... actually, right now (with the leftover concert high I still have) I have to rank this concert NUMBER ONE!!! I love how X Japan can bring a different flavour to rock music! Thanks so much X Japan!! You guys rock!!! Come back ANY time!

I was at 2nd row and it was my 1st experience for X Japan! That was great show, however, I was so disappointed that they COULD NOT use the movie of hide because of his management office in Japan. I still enjoyed the show. We are X!!

    X JAPAN

by noriko on 2010-10-05Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

It was their very first concert in Canada. It was awesome!!! Their concerts in Japan are normally held at the Tokyo Dome with +50,000 people. QET was a nice and small place to get closer to X Japan.
