Formed in 1968 by Jon Anderson and the late, and much-missed, Chris Squire, YES have been one of the most innovative, influential and best-loved bands in rock music history. Their 1970s albums The Yes AlbumFragileClose To The EdgeYessongs (a triple live album set), Tales From Topographic OceansRelayer and Going For The One were ground-breaking in musical style and content. Their music also became synonymous with artist Roger Dean whose distinctive YES logo design and artwork adorned the lavish gatefold presentation sleeves of many YES albums.

With sales of over 50 million records, the Grammy-award winning YES were inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2017 where they performed Roundabout from the album Fragile and the FM radio-friendly Owner Of A Lonely Heart from the 1985 album 90125.

    Yes!

by Bluesrockdog on 2013-04-14Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

It was with great excitement that I looked forward to this concert never having seen the band before. And they didn't disappoint. They were great. With nearly all of the key original members on hand, they sounded like the band that gave progressive rock respect back in the 1970s. Their renditions of the entire catalog scheduled for the evening was excellent.

    Yes, brilliant

by Yessirree on 2013-04-13Massey Hall - Toronto

Jon Davison is not quite Jon Anderson, but nonetheless, this group is still tremendous, even after playing this stuff 400 times, they still sound like the original. Steve Howe is still a great guitarist and keyboardist Downes hasn't got the flash of Rick Wakeman but he can play just as well.

    Yes shines still!

by Progfan on 2013-04-13Massey Hall - Toronto

First off it is Steve Howe the genius of any guitar. I have seen Yes four times already and he was better and better with each performance I experienced. Then, the new vocalist performed amazingly well, considering the length of the concert and the complexity of the vocal parts involved. The keyboardist was good but not brilliant . Overall, it was a real treat to hear real music played by the 40 year plus veterans of prog rock. If they come to your town do not hesitate to attend.

    Yes Rocks

by KKYU on 2013-04-13Massey Hall - Toronto

Close to the edge was an awesome start to the show. Yes was rock'in from start to finish. Starting with Close to the edge , next Going for the one and what a great album to finish with The Yes album. For bass and guitar playing you can not beat Chris Squire and Steve Howe also Allan White was loud and steady very solid performance. Being honest how can Mr. Anderson be replaced, well he can't. Davidson did some good work but no one can create the singing performance of Mr. Anderson. That being said the boys from Yes were Rock'in and Roll'in all night long. Great show and great venue.

YES - one of the top 5 concerts I've ever seen

by Jerryc on 2013-04-13Massey Hall - Toronto

I have to rate this as one of the top 5 concerts I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot. The magnificent sound of Massey Hall combined with the amaizing performance definitely made this a truly incredible show. Yes played 3 albums in their entirety, including my favourite "Close To The Edge". if you're a Yes fan, or just a fan of progressive rock, I encourage you to see this tour, you won't be disappointed! 5 stars isn't a high enough rating in my opinion!!

An evening in the 70's with yes

by colsmth on 2013-04-13Massey Hall - Toronto

Great to see a show that reminds me of times when i had hair and big speakers. Loved the album choices and vocals were excellent. Being old I actually liked the fact the show started on time. Mssey halls acoustics did not need the amps as loud as they were. Love to see Steve and Chris play but thought some of the lyrics were lost.

    Yes was a no. Boring

    by Crazydog1 on 2013-04-13Massey Hall - Toronto

They started by playing music they had on the ark with Noah. It never got new. I like yes but didn't think they would only play the not so golden oldies. We left early for dinner. That was good. Who starts a show at 7. I guess they had to get back to the home before lights out.

Excellent backup band and feature concert. Yes knows how to deliver even after all these years! We loved the outdoor concert venue as well - it was simply great.

    Howe do they do it?

by MIKS on 2012-08-12Akoo Theatre at Rosemont - Rosemont

After so many years and so many shows they keep ticking on. The live show is still advisable, and even the casual fan will enjoy the spectacle. I hoped for a few tunes off of the 90125 Album but it didn't happen at this show...

    Yes concert was very disappointing

terrible show - too many technical problems. The band should be embarrassed with this performance.

    Yes at Casino Rama

by yescanada on 2012-07-12Casino Rama - Rama

Honestly, I was skeptical about Jon Davidson, and disappointed that fellow Benoit David had lost his job, since Fly From Here was so outstanding. But Jon Davidson has a beautiful voice and great stage presence - you could tell that he was singing from the heart. His hippy style makes him a natural for the group - almost as if he was an original 1968 member that hadn't aged. Chris Squire was cool with upright bass, and Steve Howe was as amazing as ever. The choice of songs was excellent, with "Awaken" being the highlight of the show. I'd like to see them again - come back to Canada!

    yes, very bad

by glenng on 2012-07-12Casino Rama - Rama

worst concert yet at Rama, band was way too loud, then the lead guitarist was even louder. Terrible newer music, we new 3-4 older songs that where well done, the rest was just noise, I thought I was on acid. The guy who did the lights should have been made to sit in the crowd with toothpicks in his eyes, see if he enjoys getting blinding lights flashed at him. I have seen a few concerts now where they blind you, I dont know whats wrong with lighting people. At one time in my younger years I really enjoyed Yes, I have one album, they should retire now.

    Yes was amazing!!!

by Odin on 2012-07-12Casino Rama - Rama

This was an amazing show. It might even be the best Yes show I've ever seen (and I've seen them a bunch of times). The new singer was incredible. He sounds just like Anderson. The set list featured songs for everyone fan. A big chunk of songs from the new album and a mix of classic Yes. But since four of the band members played on Drama, it would have been great if they played more from that album.
