This show was fantastic-the singing, dancing, lighting, special effects - all so awesome -it was such an amazing way to spend my Mother's Day. The puppets were amazing - a dragon, a gnome and a flying sylph. I can't wait for the next Youth Singer performance.
An excellent production with a fantastic storyline that tied the musical performances together brilliantly. The music was beautiful, and the talented performers were all outstanding. A terrific family experience.
Very mediocre at best .... and this comment has nothing to do with the performers but the choreography. We thought it would be the performing of the traditional Christmas songs ... how they were traditionally sang (not with some modern twist).
This was a fantastic show - with all ages, even cute little tykes. Singing and dancing their hearts out - sending heart warming messages about Christmas. The costumes, sets and lighting are absolutely fantastic. It is hard to believe that this is an amateur show choir. I thought they were better than the shows I saw at Calgary Stampede
Delightful sound. So many costume changes, amazing. This was our second performance of the Calcary Youth Singers we have attended. Two for two. Time to book a third.
An awesome production we flew in from Vancouver to see. Cassandra Martin as Miss Crank was fantastic and really stood out. What an incredible voice! It was quite the spectacle as (it seemed) like hundreds of kids sang and danced around the stage. I can't imagine the work and dedication it takes to produce such a show but the kids are all so talented!

Once again these very talented young people put on a great show... We are never dissapointed and are always so impressed with the talent and the amount of work it must take to put on this show.. Perfect !!!
I enjoyed the show. The seats were not great, could not see clearly...but the music played by the orhcestra was fantastic. The singing and dancing was lively and very captivating...

The show was fun, good theme, good singing and dancing. I was surprized by the vast age of the performers. I would have liked it earlier in the afternoon but maybe that is not possible. We enjoy the Youth Singers at the Stampede and again in this Christmas performance. A great way to encourage our youth to use their talent. I also liked the traditional music mixed with the non-traditional, a very good mix. Keep Christmas in your show it was good.
This was an amazing show with a variety of music, costumes and coreography. The production is well done showing off the talents of the many youth of diffierent age groups. The costumes are colourful and fun. This was our first time attending this event and we would dffinately go again.
The show was fantastic! These kids and young adults are truely amazing and beyond talented! I highly recommend this show and any show put on by the Youth Singers of Calgary!!
I really enjoyed the show and the Youth Singers group did an excellent job; having a show "curator" made it flow smoothly. The musical numbers were well choreographed, music was easy to understand and the talent presented was amazing. Hats off to all the leaders of these kids and the hard work involved in such a production!
What a beautiful rendition. Your singers are so talented with their unique voices. Almost brought me to tears ( in a touching beautiful way...) Overall a great performance on everyone. Act 3 and Senior High Conductor Don Christianson a gem of a find for this group!!!
If you have seen one Youth Singers show, you have seen them all. Unless you have a child in the show, there really isn't anything that spectacular that you will be treated to. The ticket prices do NOT reflect the quality of their shows. Far too overpriced for what you get. There are other groups out there that produce a much better quality show and the ticket prices are FAR MORE REASONABLE!!! If you are looking for something along this line of production, check out The Young Canadians. You wont be disappointed!! Same age groups, just better produced, performed, and the talent pool is greater. And you feel like you get MORE than your money's worth at their shows over The Youth Singers shows.
