  • Zucherro - one of my best concerts ever!

by dawg101 on 2014-03-25West End Cultural Centre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

The entire show from the solo 2-song kick-off to the dancing in the isles was a musical treat. He simply played song after song that I knew and loved. And the crowd interaction (those wonderful Italians) made it just that much better. Although he spoke Italian through most of the performance (& I don't know Italian), it was just another element that seems to make the entire show almost surreal. Thanks for bringing him to Winnipeg for such a wonderful intimate show.

  • Zucchero...what a night

What a treat to see a big star in such a small venue. It was like having him in your living room. Zucchero and his amazing band gave an awesome stadium worthy performance. Don't miss it.

  • Zucchero was simply awesome!

It was an unforgettable evening of two and a half hours of non-stop high energy performance by Zucchero and his fantastic band of musicians. I have been following Zu's career for over 10 years (have discovered him in Prague) and this was the first time I saw him in a live performance. What a presence on stage! It was a very exciting experience for me and will be long remembered. Zucchero's voice really touches my soul. I love watching his expressive hands. I hope he will be granted many more years of good health and strong constitution to carry on for many years to come. Thank you for bringing joy to my life.

  • Great artist and selection of songs, poor sound

by sucre on 2014-03-16Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Zucchero is one of the greatest Italian musicians. Great selection of newer and older songs, liked everything. The only problem was the sound, we were at the right balcony level. The faster pace songs were so loud that it was hard to hear the melody, always at the limit of what our ears could tolerate. At some point it became just too tiring. it is not our first concert at Massey Hall. Deep Purple sounded great! The sound engineer was at the lower level perhaps there was no problem there.
