Awesome show from start to finish. Could have played all night long!
we were right up front by the stage great spot awesome show best show in kamloops to date
Rock and Roll hall of famers! Z Z Top jammed hard and old school last night. From the time they hit the stage until their final encore they just played and sang. Tremendous entertainers. Awesome clips of videos from the past and new stuff running behind them on a jumbo screen. The place went nuts over legs and sharp dressed man everyone was on their feet. Their show was about an hour forty minutes non stop. They were completely amazing. Their encore was Dusty singing Tush! It was phenomenal. It has been a dream for a long time to see these three originals perform and I was not disappointed. I'll see them again. Thank you ZZ you were spectacular!
Words were very hard to understand unless you knew all the words. Guitar playing was spectacular. Why is the music or speakers so loud. Would be nice to hear what they were singing.
ZZ was incredible. I loved how they played together including their movements. It was a beautiful thing to see.
Good light and stage setup, it was fairly basic but worked well for ZZ. Sound quality had some issues in or around our seat locations ( section A ) The vocals were overpowered by the guitars and drums. Bass and mid bass audio was powerful with a good solid punch . In comparison to other concerts there audio setup was average ( based on sitting in section A). The overall show was above average.
Sound was muddy at times. Didn't notice this with the opening act. First half of the show had low moments. I can think of a couple of hits they could have subbed for the lesser known stuff. Second half of the show was smoking hot!
The concert started out with older songs, that it seemed not everyone new. The sound of the band was big for a band with three guys. They obviously love what they do and do it well. They saved the best for last. She's got legs, best dressed man ect. The eighties videos where awesome. Loved how they changed up their guitars. It was more than Iexcpected, so glad I we went!!
It took some time for them to come out (stage issues) but once they did it was great. The encore was Awesome!
The show was great, the sound was fantastic. Admittedly, Gibbon's voice is not what it used to be, but that was only evident in very few songs. The set list was great but I could have done without the large screen above the stage. The venue was small enough that it was distracting. Loved the Hendrix tribute, would have loved to see a SRV tune. Overall, it is easily one of the best concerts to hit Kamloops thus far.
Great concert - a little slow in the beginning but by the end it was very pumped!!
i tell ya if have the people could do what those guys do at their age, no extras just them , we be in risk of everyone living until120yrs old they were great, a better back up band, the show would have been a 5star
It was ZZ top's nite. They are old style Rockers and put on a great performance that really had the crowd having a great time. They came to play and we loved it, it was a 4 star show****
i really enjoy the consert i cant stop talking about it.The sound was great and they played all there classical hits. The best part was we did not have to drive to another city. zz top are some great intertainers.
It was so cool seeing ZZ Top in person! I have been dancing to their music for over 30 years. They played all my favorites. Keep on rockin boys!
It's been many years since the last time I saw the Texas trio and I have to say, they have gotten better with age. The show was amazing, they work so well together, where they just know each others moves so well. Nothing spectacular as far as the moves, but just real smooth together like a perfect team. Billy Gibbons plays guitar like it is just another arm on his body, truly an amazing guitarist. Wasn't sure I wanted to go, but hands down am so glad I changed my mind. Good times all around. Thankful I didn't have floor tickets though as seemed like too much alcohol was being consumed by those ticket holders and many were getting a little out of hand from where I was seated and could see the security escorting a few out.
I felt in the presence of legends seeing ZZ Top last night! It was downright emotional. Brought back memories, of course, but in vivid colour and with a lot of class and the utmost of Cool. They were so damn cool it was comical... in a good way. They were so obviously comfortable up there, interacting with the audience and each other in such a casual and simple and charismatic way and just sounding truly amazing musically. Woke me right up and got me right into it. Worth every minute and every penny. Renewed my interest in them and respect of them.
The band played all their top hits and best-known classics, along with a few cool surprises. Their set was interspersed with bits of laid-back humor and tons of cool. Classic ZZ Top tunes and a great encore mini-set made for a great show. Top notch sound, loud and clear and it filled the room!
The show was awesome!! Would have been nice to have a bigger turn out. Plus the old people don't really get into it as much as the younger ones do.
