    Jethro Tull 50th

    by Section301 on 2018-07-11Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Heading into this show we were concerned as Ian Anderson's voice is not getting any better and were a little frustrated that the tickets we spent $90 on were now available on Groupon for less than $40. We figured this show was going to be a joke. Pleasantly surprised hearing Anderson talk about previous band members and the video montage from many members who would introduce certain songs. While Anderson's singing voice is still almost painful to hear, the video extra's with the female and male singers singing along at the precise moments (i.e. Aqualung) were the proper way to go and even though his voice is done, the man can still play the hell out of that flute. Definitely a much better show than we had anticipated; Jethro Tull was the perfect band to play a rather intimate show on a balmy Tuesday night in Toronto.

Too Old to Rock and Roll

by AnotherHabfan on 2018-07-08Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Ian Anderson's voice is shot. He should not be touring. The band was pretty tight, the songs nostalgic, but Ian Anderson cannot sing anymore. He should hang it up. Someone should warn fans about this!

Jethro Tull proves that old rockers still got “it”

    by Mathew626 on 2018-07-08Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Ian Anderson’s show started off with some rarities and memorable tunes that my dad often played for me! His band was amazing and held great energy. Poor Ian’s voice has had some damage done but he maintained a captivating performance! Ends his set with loud, powerful and dramatic song like aqualung and locomotive breath. Simply amazing !!!

    Jethro Tull

by molsonjo on 2018-07-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Even though Ian's voice wasn't like it use to be, the presentation of the songs with back up singers was well done. All the band still rock it quite well

    Jethro Tull least favorite show

by noona on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - Toronto

I must admit I am not a follow them anywhere die hard fan, but was familiar with some of their songs. The instrumental was great? His unique "tree pose" style of playing his signature stance, but Ian Anderson's voice, not so great. I paid $140.00 and was so disappointed. Show started promptly at 8:00, there was an intermission and I was through the crowd and at the Go Train by 10:30

Jethro Tull, Ian Anderson looked old!!!

    by KenL5525 on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - Toronto

An old band very, very much past its prime!!! The music is now very dated, they should retire unless they need to make money to survive!!! The stage set up , lighting was pretty basic and generally boring!!! Would not go see them again for free!!

    Great show

by Canton on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - Toronto

I had a good time. The band sounded really good. Part of the vocals for a few songs were prerecorded and the visuals of that person singing were broadcast on the mega screen. Different. Overall loved the show. Plenty of positive energy. Played a solid 90 mins with brief intermission. No encore.
