Rating: 4 out of 5 Ian Anderson rocks
by Reza1 on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoHad Ian’s concert tickets in 2013 and got sick and could not experience his genious artistic live performance. This time was a big redemption with JT music.

Rating: 3 out of 5 Great Music but the singing.....
by ElroyH on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoI would never say that Ian Anderson had a great voice but his vocal range has suffered with his age. The pieces where he didn't sing or didn't sing much were awesome -- he's immensely talented with the flute and the one guitarist and the organist were phenomenal. Production wise too the show was first class. Biggest issue was the concert support people -- there was one less than 10 feet away from us who kept his radio on -- and on really LOUD -- that it was an annoying distraction. While he finally turned it down at the end of the first set, it was turned up -- or another person had one turned up -- for the second set. Another distraction was the waiters taking orders during the concert. Sorry, but my concert enjoyment should come ahead of other patrons' laziness.
Rating: 5 out of 5by Anonymous on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - Toronto Really good evening. Even after fifty years jethro tull can still rock it out.

Rating: 2 out of 5 Ian Anderson presents Jethro Tull
by StyxChix on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoSadly Ian Anderson's voice is poor and weak. You could barely understand what he was singing most of the time. His voice fell off during each sentence of a song. This was a group I wanted to see, now I have .. that's about all I can say. He did Aqualung .. but no Bungle in the Jungle .. ???
Rating: 4 out of 5 Jethro Tull 2018
by Indyguy on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoProbably would have given it a 5 if they played bungle in the jungle
Rating: 3 out of 5 Ian's voice is shot
by devofan on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoFortunately the musicianship remains excellent and all the old favourites were played. I think he should really consider either a) having someone else sing the songs. b) have someone join in harmonizing or singing the same lines at the same time which happened on a number of the songs and was a big improvement. His speaking voice is still OK and his vocals were OK on Too Old To Rock 'n Roll Too Young To Die which was nice.

by Sll7676 on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoIt’s been 31 years since I’ve seen Jethro Tull. Ian Anderson and band did not disappoint. Well done!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Jethro Tull- 50th Anniversary Tour
by coffeemare on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoIt was great to see the former band members on the screen. The band was amazing. Loved that they played many of the old hits.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Jethro Tull - Ian stop singing!
by dozys62 on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoI have seen Jethro Tull the last few times they have been around here. I'm not a big fan but my GF is. She thought the songs were good, it was musically, sonically great but unfortunately the singing was terrible. Last time there was a younger singer that filled in but not this time. Ian Anderson is hugely talently, a good frontman but his singing days should be over.

by krunchy on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoThe show was great. It was almost two hours long which was nice.
Rating: 5 out of 5 More than met my Expectations!
by jacyfrometobicoke on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoWhen I heard the 'Aqualung' album in 1971, I was immediately captivated by that famous riff, and Ian's amazing flute playing! The Tuesday concert at 'Bud' Stage was fantastic. Ian is the consummate showman, engaging the audience, providing a mini-history of the band's 50 years, dancing constantly around the stage, while playing wonderful flute lines. Being a 'blues harp' player I was thrilled to find out that he is a very proficient harp player! The venue was quite full, but the crowd very laid back and polite during the intermission. I attend numerous shows there a year, and found this one to be even more magical, including the wonderful backdrop of very interesting film footage, often quite old (like the steam locomotives barreling along the tracks, and beautiful Clysdale work horses pulling hand guided plows), which aligned well with the song lyrics. His backing band was superb, all excellent musicians, especially the guitarist and keyboardist. One of the draws to the 'Tull' experience in the 70's was Ian's creative arrangements of old English Madrigals, which I had forgotten about, and were beautifully performed! This is a 'not to miss' concert experience!
Rating: 4 out of 5 Best was the end
by MichOttawa on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoIan Anderson gave a good concert which was mellow until he got to Aqualung at the end. Being there for the last two songs made it worthwhile. The venue is good with very expensive beer.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Never disappoints
by canadianguy123 on 2018-07-06Budweiser Stage - TorontoLast time I saw JT was 1983 and that was a great show with full stage beast and the broadsword performance. This time it was more straight forward minstrel rock n roll. Enjoyed it a lot.
