About

With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, FOREIGNER is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 80 million.

Responsible for some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," "Say You Will," "Dirty White Boy," "Long, Long Way From Home" and the worldwide #1 hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is," FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success. Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER's hits are approaching 15 million per week.

With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard's "Greatest of All Time" listing. At times, the band's weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source:MusiConnect). FOREIGNER's catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time.

FOREIGNER's founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, a visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER's influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock's greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.

FOREIGNER's lineup also includes noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Carlos Maldonado. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that speaks to FOREIGNER's enduring popularity.

FOREIGNER recently announced the beginning of their Farewell Tour on national television. The tour will commence on July 6th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA and is expected to take two years or so to complete. The goal is to visit all the cities where the band has played since its reformation in 2004.

    What a Great Show!

    by Kinger on 2023-07-31

I have no excuses but this was my first Foreigner show and boy did they hit this one out of the park. Bought the VIP Meet n Greet/Q&A package with my wife and loved chatting with the band and understanding why they have decided to hang up their guitars, drumsticks and keyboards. The show was a list of all their hits (some done acoustically which was cool) and a surprise extended version of Jukebox Hero starting in the crowd. Fantastic! Will miss this band but so glad I finally can check this one off! Rock & Roll Hall of Fame - wake up and get this band a spot inside. Doesn't make sense to me! Foreigner - as I said to you at the show, those for the memories. You will be dearly missed! Kinger & The Queen

    Foreigner’s Toronto Show

    by CathyM on 2023-07-31

Great show. Opening act got us started. Loverboy warmed us up for the fantastic performance from Foreigner. Foreigner delivered on every level. “Felt like my first time….” Thank you to all the performers and the people behind the scene that made this memorable.

Both Bands were amazing, Foreigner and Loverboy. Glad I got the chance to see both of these bands. Both lead singers for both of these bands were absolutely amazing, they still got it. Budweiser Stage is the best venue, love going there. I will be back !!!

I really enjoyed the show. Everyone joined in and sang all the songs. It felt like a great big family reunion. I would definitely go to another Foreigner concert.

Best way to spend a summer night

    by JB on 2023-07-29

While I had listened to Foreigner in my youth I had never really "gotten into them", like other bands. Seeing them live gave a a deeper appreciation for their music and talent. Their live performance is pretty true to their studio music. I was first struck by what I thought was a minimalist stage, but once the light features moved and started I realized it was a very clean set up. Thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Loved Kelly Hanson's stage presence; he exuded classic rock and roll and while not as frenetic as Mick Jagger, he had some great moves. Their CD is loaded in my one vehilce, and I have been streaming their music in my work vehicle. Enjoyed Loverboy, the opening act.

Foreigner is one of the worlds best rock bands! They know how to captivate an audience more than any other band i’ve seen. This was a once in a lifetime experience and i’m so grateful I could share this experience with other Foreigner fans.

Great musicians, wonderful singer, I wish they played a couple more songs but they were great overall. Loverboy was the opener, not too familiar with their material but I really liked them too. Recommended

Foreigner & Loverboy - Toronto Budweiser Stage

    by Forever 80s on 2023-07-29

Loved the concert! Music was amazing (of course!) I felt the sound quality was 'off' when Loverboy was performing - it sounded a little muffled/unclear. Such that, if I didn't already know the lyrics, I couldn't understand the words most of the time. It was sooo much better when Foreigner performed, thankfully! The purchase/entrance/exit experience at the venue was very good. No issues with crowds, e-tickets were easily accessible, plenty of food/beverage options, and security presence was noticeable without feeling overbearing. Look forward to the next event!

    Mediocre cover band

by Baz in Canada on 2023-07-29

There is only one remaining member from the original band. Lead singer is not as good as the original. Sound quality was not that great. Outdoor concert experience was good and the weather was wonderful. Overall a good night out but not one of the best concerts st that venue.

    Disappointed

    by Music Fan on 2023-07-29

While I enjoyed Lover Boy with Mike Reno (Original Member). Reno and Lover Boy get FIVE STARS *! The same can not be said for Foreigner. Don't get me wrong the musicians are excellent and they played the songs great. There was not ONE ORIGINAL member from the band not even Mick Jones. As far as I was concerned what I saw was an extremely great cover band nothing more. How can they do a farewell tour with no original members not even one. Another thing that bothered me was how they took credit for songs they had no part in writing nor recording. Had they said this is a story that Mick told me or Lou talked great. Again don't get me wrong they played great and put on a show. But to me they are a cover band that's it.

    Foreigner was spectacular beyond belief

    by Mona on 2023-07-29

This was an experience had and never will be forgotten. I selected the VIP onstage. Unfortunately, there was a Q&A and picture opportunity that I arrived too late for because of working and traffic. That part sucked. But we were onstage for the first 3 songs and our seats were great so got some amazing close-ups. I knew EVERY song and sang with them... what a RUSH!!

Amazing Bands, full night of entertainment

    by Pontiki on 2023-07-29

This farewell tour of Foreigner is an opportunity to relive all the hits you grew up with, if you’re of their generation. I love Loverboy as much as Foreigner, so this was a two for one ticket for me. Loverboy was excellent, put on a great show of their hits, sounded very good, and were fun to see as they’ve aged, but are still the same guys. Mike Reno’ signature bandana in place, he sang from their first hit, The Kid Is Hot Tonite, to the real rock song Lucky Ones, to the ballad from Top Gun. Foreigner was fabulous, doing a great job in their final tour, they deserve to relax. They were full of energy from start to finish, Kelly Hansen sounds as good as he always has. The true rock experience was a thrill, with lots of theatrics during Juke Box Hero and flames in Hot Blooded. My favourite song, the lesser known, Girl on the Moon, the B side of the Urgent 45 for anyone who remembers, being played was an incredible moment, as it was sung acoustically. A night to cherish, I’m a lucky one to get to see these guys for a final time.
