One of my favorite bands of all time. Hard metal pumpin' tunes and a down to earth singer. Love every show I've been to!

    Hatebreed destroyed as always!!

by BoNeSaW on 2010-09-09The Music Hall - LONDON

Awesome show! Hatebreed returned to London, last visit was 2006 at Cowboys, this was my first time seeing a concert at the London Music Hall, great little venue! They played an awesome setlist, few songs from every album, mosh pit was pretty good however the crowd was small, I would say roughly only 300-500 people.... but made it great for those of us there to get right up front of the band, up and close!!

    Spitting Venom

by Firejackel on 2010-01-21MacEwan Ballroom - Calgary, AB

So, I totally thought this show was going to be cancelled due to weather because of a crazy winter storm that came through Southern Alberta over the past 24 hours, but I was extremely stoked to hear the bands made it to Calgary! The night started off with Hate Eternal giving a powerful performance of Death Metal. A decent size crowd came to the show early to catch these guys. Next up was Born of Osiris with their progrssive metal. Really enjoyed some of their melodic sounding riffs thrown into their crunching sound. Their set was about 30 minutes consisting of about 8 or 9 songs. Carrying on with the show was Unearth. I have now seen these guys 3 or 4 times and always enjoy their stage presence. I always get right into the thick of it for thier show and forget to catch a pick, but not this time. Ken Susi actually handed me his pick at the end of the set of 40 minutes consisting of 10 or 12 songs. I’ll be straight forward I’m not a big fan of Cannible Corpse and their performance didn’t really impress me. Some of their songs have some great riffs but the majority of the music is grunting vocals. Their set was about an hour or so playing about 13 songs. Finally, Hatebreed so how I have been wanting to see these guys as a headliner. I had the opportunity to catch their set at Monsters of Rock in the summer of 2008 but I felt it didn’t do them justice. This show was what I expected of the guys and wouldn’t hesitate to see them again. Their set was about an hour and a half and covered all their albums. I had a M & G pass for after the show to top the night . A great bunch of guys I hope to catch again.

    Biased of course

by Mantrayana on 2009-12-19Sound Academy - Toronto

It should immediately be mentioned that I was a listener and fan of cannibal corpse and not the other bands therefor my recommendation is moreso directed at those who fancy CC. Unearthed played a decent set with some small sound/feedback issues but overall the sound quality for all acts was crisp. I would comment on Hatebreed in the same fashion but I did not stay for the entirety of their set. This venue definetly enhanced the experience. Missed Hate Eternal which was a drag as theyve only been in Canada a handfull of times. Note to those who drink at these kinds of shows, refrain from bringing your drink to the 'pit. Watching people slip around is funny for a few minutes but annoying after a few songs.

This show was very well done. The sound at the sound accademy is excellent. It's a great metal venue. I wish Cannibal Corpse headlined and Hate Eternal could have played after Unearth. My hat is off to Born Of Osirus and Unearth due to the fact they agreed to play with bands that absolutely blow them off the stage in Cannibal Corpse and Hate Eternal. Hatebreed is Hatebreed and they have always been fun to watch for me since I first saw them at the begining of the decade. Please support metal no matter which genre you prefer. Horns

I went souly for Cannibal Corpse but was very happy with the three openers. I left before Hatebreed went on because in all truth I hate them with a passion. Sound Academy's small space created a great, strong energy that kept me and everyone around me moving the whole night. I was right near the stage which was by far my highlight of the night. Overall, kick ass night.

I unfortunately couldn't go, but my boyfriend, his son and a friend of mine went, and they had a blast. My boyfriend's son was the only kid there. The audience treated him great, watched out for him and took him backstage, ON stage and he watched the concert from the security pit. All the bands treated him great when he met them - and yes, he DOES have the coolest parents on the planet! The line up was phenomenal - there were more bands worth watching in one night than was expected. All of them are still talking about it and want to do it again soon!

    C.C

by cuntLice on 2009-12-09The Garrick Centre - Winnipeg

The crowd was more nutS for cannibal corpse than all the other band and got a bigger reaction. The only thing that the tour should do is some 18+ shows.

The night of the concert is truly unforgettable. All of the bands were very energetic and extreme. I'd see that concert again, and I recommend it to any fan of these bands.

    A Variety of Heavy Bands

by Mage on 2009-12-04Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

I went because of Cannibal Corpse. The first band was Hate Eternal. Unfortunately, I could not hear the guitar very well. The drums were louder than everything else, particularly the kick and toms. Even the bass guitar was almost inaudible. Nonetheless, the guitar leads I could hear....just not the riffs. Too bad, because from what I could hear, a good thing was happening, just couldn't hear it completely. Similar problems happened when Unearth played, though it was at least a bit better. Born of Osiris isn't really a band I listen to too much as they aren't really my style, but the sound improved when they played...same with Cannibal Corpse and finally Hatebreed. I don't know what it is--the sound improved as more bands played, but why couldn't the sound be right the first time? Is it because loud volume is favoured over high quality sound?

    Poor headliner!

by Doktor on 2009-12-04Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

A beautiful night in Vancouver, big metal bands and the ballroom. Could it get any better? I think so yes. I dont think and average band like Hatebreed should ever get to headline an event like this. Cannibal corpse is not one of my favourite bands, but they have been around for many years and deserve respect even if the music sometimes seems a little pointless. Unearth is one of the best bands in their genre and the latest album the march , produced by Adam D from KSE, is an awesome metal album Hate eternal was impossible to decipher due to very poor sound. primarily to much bass and to much double bass drum for my taste. Born of Osiris proved their technical metal is what they do best. Unearth and Born of Osiris was worth every penny, and if your a cannibal corpse fan they have a solid performance. Hatebreed and Hate Eternal is just to much HATE for one night. It is lame, pointless and insecure metal.

    integrity vs irony; a showcase

by jonottanyeah on 2009-12-03Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

This was an interesting show, an opportunity to see bands that take heavy music seriously and bands that don't. Hate Eternal And Cannibal Corpse ( and to some extent Hatebreed, ) are serious about evil. As corny as it sounds, you can hear it in the music. When metal is played with a hipster's smirk, no matter how technically good - Like Unearth who I actually really like - it loses something and it translates in the music. Metal for the most part has a strong respect for integrity and usually frowns on irony which is probably one of the main reasons I still listen to it. But it seems new acts ( Neu-Metal?) are doing it to be cool, ignoring the punk roots of death/thrash metal. It was night and day; hate Eternal and CC blew away Unearth and Osiris somethingorother because they weren't at the Commodore "to party" ; they were there to rip our heads off. I left before Hatebreed started - I really like their music and have seen them many times. Too many meatheads are into them - that's a whole different thang... Commodore is always great, good sound and good service.
