About

Nicki Minaj is a multi-platinum-selling rapper from the island of Trinidad. After being discovered by Lil Wayne in the late 2000s, Minaj signed with Young Money Entertainment and quickly began breaking records — becoming the first female artist to top Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart in nearly a decade thanks to her 2010 single “Your Love,” which was featured on her Grammy-nominated debut studio album Pink Friday. That album took the music industry by storm, delivering the Diamond-certified smash “Super Bass” and introducing fans to the rapper’s penchant for alter egos among her blistering lyricism and rapid-fire flow. Considered one of the greatest female rappers of all time, some of Minaj’s biggest singles include “Starships,” the Grammy-nominated “Anaconda” and “Chun-Li.” She scored her first solo No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2022 with “Super Freaky Girl” — the lead single off her fifth studio album, 2023’s Pink Friday 2.

    A MUST SEE ARTIST

by Dennis on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Nicki Minaj proved why she is one of the greatests of all time. A concert filled with the rapper’s greatest hits (of which there are plenty) as well as amazing songs from her latest ‘Pink Friday 2’ album. The entire production, from set to lighting to visuals, added to making this an incredible performance. However, it was Nicki herself who was the star of the show. Her and her mic is all that is needed to keep us entertained. She oozes star power and her stage presence is on a whole other level. She is an artist that everyone needs to see at least once in their lifetime.

Way too long to come out...

    by Dd21 on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Traveled from Oshawa and came a little later at 8 pm, but also nobody came out til 930, not even the opener, and then Nicki Minaj we were waiting on until 11:20. The sets were amazing but the waiting was a lot especially cause I had work in the morning. Didn't get home til 2:30 in the morning. Beautiful sets, enjoyed the music, but was hard to hear at times in the level 300's. Disappointed.

A great time, but felt offended

by A Barb on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Got to concert in time, spent a lot of money on our floor seats. Show starts 830 Nicki came out 11:12 pm. A lot of her barbs are females and a lot like myself have been rolling with her and her music up to 15 years ago. So a lot of us are older now we have kids, school responsibilities and I had to leave halfway through the concert almost 1am due to her coming out late. A lot of other people were leaving as well as the concert was going past 1am while we were there since 720pm. At that point we were irritated and just left. We understand that things happen, but almost 3 hours after start time? As much as we ride for Nicki, the least she can do is step out on time! I received half a concert. But a great experience.

    Late and pathetic

by darpakelim on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Show was supposed to start at 8.30pm, NOT 11.15pm! No announcement or notice was given. There was a DJ who only played for less than 30 mins. He could have kept the crowd company during the delay. Then after a few performances, Nicki goes away for another 45mins then comes back to perform. Show finished after 1am! Not professional for the organizers or the performers.

    Great Concert!

by Dizzle on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

This concert was amazing! I had to deduct one star due to the too many wardrobe changes without anything happening in between. We were kind of just sitting there waiting. She also came out three hours late, but she made up for it with a great performance and she also brought out Drake which was a bonus!

    Great Performance poor planning

by SF on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Artist did not get on the stage until 11PM for a 8:30PM show start time.

Spent more time waiting then the concert itself

by Barbinwaiting on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

The show was supposed to start at 8:30 and Nicki didn’t go on till after 11pm. Between all the breaks for outfit changes and INCLUDING the opener, the show was barely 2 hours. I heard she was late from other shows so I drove in otherwise if I had taken the train I would’ve been stranded in Toronto for the night. As a performer who has people paying to come see you, it’s disrespectful to us and our time to be so late and not even acknowledge it. This was a Tuesday night many of us had work the next day and were coming from out of the city.

    4 hrs late

by Mary on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Artists: if ur late forget the costume changes or something because we don’t care we just want to see u perform. We shouldn’t have to wait for that too.

    If I could leave a 0 I would

To show up 3 hours late and not even acknowledge it, is so disrespectful to your fans.

    Nicki Concert

by Nick on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

The concert was okay, Nicki didn’t come out till 11:10, she brought Drake out so it made up for it. Drake and Nicki didn’t perform moment 4 life. Nicki’s costume changes were too long.

    Wait time was Ridiculous

by Divi on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Good show, definitely a Nicki fan ( thank you for having Monica out) It would have been nice not to wait 2 1/2 hours before the show started. Not even Beyoncé did this to her fans!!

    Huge fan but disappointed

by Dre on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

I’m a huge Nicki fan. I’m in my early 40s and have been a fan from day 1 when she debuted. For a show which was supposed to start at 8:30pm she didn’t touch the stage until 11:10pm! That is beyond disrespectful. DJ Booth warmed up the crowd and played a 45 minute set which ended at 9:45. We were basically just left to sit and look at an empty stage for another hour and half until she finally made her grand appearance. Shout out to the Toronto fans who cheered and still embraced her when she came on stage because I was not amused. That said, from what I saw of the show, it was a great performance. She was mostly live, the sets and lights were good. I just wish I was able to see the full show I payed for. I left half way through at midnight as did many fans who had to catch the last train out of the city. The appearance by Drake also pacified a tired and disappointed crowd and definitely earned her some favour. She is a wonderful talent but please, don’t leave your fans waiting almost three hours with no acknowledgment.

    Pink Friday 2

by Lish on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Amazing!!! It took a little long to start and I was expecting Monica as an opener so it was a little different that she came out closer to the end of the show but it was amazing!! ☺️

    Disappointed

by Eva on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Her performance was mid, not entertaining what so ever. The TVs hanging from the ceiling were off so if you didn’t have the closest seats you couldn’t even see an image of her face or an up close personal view of Nicki. Love her music, just disappointed with the performance and production. Oh and she also didn’t come out until 11:30pm and her transitions during the show for outfit change were way too long. Had the whole crowd yawning and wanting to leave. We didn’t get out until 2:30am.

    Respect for Our Time

by MR on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

    1) she is a good performer and the vibe was awesome 2) she brought Drake out and that was awesome 3) I sat with my children doing nothing for 2 hours because she was late. It went until 1am vs 11pm. That’s disrespectful to those who work for a living or have school. No apology ever given. I don’t care if you are a superstar-not ok.

    Nicki is a Queen

by Jacqui on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Besides all the waiting and there is a lot she performed some amazing songs and had the crowd hyped! She brought Drake out and I almost died! Literally best night ever! Nicki is a Queen!

    Disappointing

by NeverAgain on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Absolutely ridiculous that she came out 2+ hours later than the scheduled time, especially on a Tuesday night. The performance itself was very mid, and seemed so disorganized. Will never attend another one of her concerts.

    Great but could’ve been better

by Jman on 2024-05-03Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Start time said 8:30, dj came in around 9 finished up around 9:30 then we had to wait for Nicki until 11! She was great though, I know a lot of changing of outfits and all that need to happen but there were too many times she wasn’t on stage during a song for my liking.
