    BEST Concert EVER!

by Karen on 2022-12-08The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Hands down this was the best concert I've ever been to! First time seeing Ryan Adams and the show was amazing. Loved the solo, acoustic show so much! Can't wait to see him again. Have been to the Danforth a few times before but never seated...loved this experience. Thanks for an awesome time!

    Genius at play

by Nelson on 2022-12-08The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

One of the few artists on this planet that can entertain an audience for almost 3 hours with just an acoustic guitar and a harmonica.

    Amazing show

by Brainology33 on 2022-12-08The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

3 hours and 35 songs. An extraordinary artist. One of the most generous performances I’ve seen from an artist

Ryan Adams, always a performer, never a slow moment. Amazing skills, beautiful music.

    Phenomenal!

This was my first time seeing Ryan Adams, and hopefully not my last. He was funny and the music was fantastic.

    Great show

by WishingforWHiskey on 2017-06-26Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I am a big Whiskeytown fan so went there with the hope of hearing a song or 2 from that era. I have little exposure to Ryan's music otherwise. My wife went along with the hope of hearing a Taylor Swift song! So off course we were totally not ready for his show as I could not recognize one single song (except Wonderwall). Despite this I liked the show and thought his interaction with the enthusiastic was a nice touch.

    Great Show

by SeahawksFan on 2017-06-26Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

I've seen Ryan Adams each time he has played Edmonton and this show was by far the best , the energy level was amazing , the extended jam during Magnolia Mountain was amazing I almost jumped out of my seat , Sweet Illusions was the highlight for me , not played very often Ryan and the band nailed it . The little improv song about a sneeze just shows how prolific a songwriter Adams is , to think I almost didn't attend this show , now for sure I will never miss an opertunity to catch this emence talent whenever I can , Cold Roses is one of my favorite if not my favorite album of the last 20 years and it was well represented on this night , thoroughly enjoyed the new stuff as well , here's hoping he's back soon .

So talented. Such a great singer / songwriter / player... the guy can shred! Always love Ryan Adam's songs and seeing him play them live is THE BEST way to appreciate his sound. He reinterprets old favourites - not in a contrived way - but in a way that suits his growth and maturity as a musician. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I'm now a 50+ curmudgeon and never totally satisfied with anything. My flaw - he was great.

    Excellent!

by ZenDylanism on 2017-06-26Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Really enjoyed the show. Loved Ryan's energy and the band was tight. I personally blame the person who shined a light in his face after he specifically asked you not to for all the atrocities of the 20th Century.

    Ryan Adams concert disappointing

by BandTFan on 2017-06-26Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

Ryan Adams should be more thorough with his sound checks; Jubilee Auditorium has wonderful acoustics and all he produced was overwhelming volume! The highlight was when Ryan played two songs and it was just him and his guitar. The man is incredibly talented but it was not demonstrated at this show.

    Ryan Adams

by vonvik on 2017-06-26Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

The show was amazing! I would have loved to see more solo acoustic songs, but this concert was Ryan Adams & Band. I hope to see Ryan Adams do an acoustic tour at some point. Ryan Adams is a true performer. The show was filled with lights, instrumental solos, audience interaction, etc. At the "root" of this show was fantastic music by one of the best artists around today. If you like Ryan Adams, then you need to see him live!

Ryan Adams, a show like no other

by Trevor99 on 2017-06-26Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Ryan's performance. It felt like he shared a bit of his life with us and could feel the energy in the room. A bit quirky at times, but always kind. Would definitely see him again. The song set was a good mixture of hits and he didn't just play his new album

    Excellent show!

by doubleKitKat on 2017-05-12Massey Hall - Toronto

Ryan Adams is an exceptional artist who will not disappoint. He plays a mix of his earlier songs, new songs, and other artists songs. Acoustic and electric, he's definitely a treat to watch.

    letdown

    by Andrew1 on 2017-05-12Massey Hall - Toronto

After seeing Martin Sexton on a Friday Night ... admittedly in a small venue ... and then Paul Kelly at the Drake Hotel ... it was a real letdown. I am a huge Ryan fan ... for many years ... flew up from NS to see him. My GF and I see a lot of shows over the years ... and I was straight as a pin for this one ... we left after 4 songs. Both of use had the same thoughts... this sucks... just a really mediocre rock show. Pay your money & take your chances. Thanks to PKelly for saving our trip. sorry Ryan. not that you care.

    THE BEST

by Soheila on 2015-06-01Orpheum Theatre - Vancouver

OMG He was sooo good. This was my first R.A. concert and it blew my expectations. So funny and down to Earth. He even played the entire two and a half hours with a broken rib :) believe me if you go you won't be disappointed. Such a fun night :) I plan on going again the next time he comes around!
