Billy still has it! Great entertainment. They sound just like their albums.
The design of the venue, the EXPO CENTRE, did not deliver ZZ Top’s sound. It did not due them justice. I would not attend another concert there. Would recommend the Jubilee Auditorium or the Winspear Centre in Edmonton instead.
Terrible venue, couldn’t hear the vocals at all. Overall very disappointing concert.
Cory Marks is a great entertainer, but definitely not tonight! WOW the sound was so bad!!!! Way way too much bottom end..drums and bass was so much crap. Way too loud even for the younger than me! BILLY, FRANK AND ELWOOD were right on the mark!! So much talent..so much fun!!! I really enjoyed the evening!!!
They were amazing and they still have it. So great on the guitars!
The show itself was amazing ZZ top could have been playing in an Alley and it would have been great. Now the venue Ive been to the eagle before and no issues. Well this time they delegated parking which instead of the paved parking lot we where in a mud filled dirt field.. Long walk to the venue in heels dressed nicely through the mud. This show was the first time where we had to get seats on their bleachers usually the shows we go to are standing. Now omg these seats where awful 100 percent worse than Airplanes. No leg room your literally shoulders to shoulders and If someone in your row that could be up to 10 people so much adjusts a butt cheek the entire row rocked back and forth in a clunking jolt. The food like every other show place was over priced but not much will ever change there. But the performance by ZZ was worth the watching who am I kidding anywhere ZZ would have played would have been amazing to see.
Classic songs, after 50+ years they are still enjoying themselves and allowing their fans to be part of their fun
My first ZZ Top show and it was great. Great seats with perfect view of the stage. Great crowd as the place was packed. Really fun atmosphere - they can still play!
We've seen ZZ about 6 times and they always put on such a great show. Some of the old hits some of the new ones. We miss Dusty but Elwood does a great job. Rock on ZZ we'll see you again if you come back to Calgary.
ZZ Top gave me the show I expected and very much enjoyed as this was my first time seeing them live. My issue is the seating on the floor was spaced WAY to close together! It made it very uncomfortable for everyone to sit properly..and don't even get me started about trying to get to your seat without having to brush by everyone along the way. Grey Eagle all I ask is that you take your patrons comfort a bit more seriously so we can enjoy the show a bit more. Note to self...get seats on the risers next time!
Loved it! Played all the favorites. ZZ Top hasn't lost any of it's magic.
ZZ Top can still rock out! Loved it!! The opening band, The Static Shift, was really great as well!!!
First time, absolutely fantastic. The songs took me back to the 80s. Great evening
They were great, but they did not even play for 90 minutes. By contrast we recently saw Guns and Roses in San Diego and they played for 3 1/2 hours without a break..!
Seeing ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd together on one bill again was incredible. Billy Gibbons playing always looks so effortless and cool. Love Elwood's massive bass at the beginning. The sound was great and they played everything I NEEDED them to play.
Great show great venue, I just wish the prices of food and drinks weren’t so expensive.
It was just great to see the place packed for these two legendary bands! They showed up and they gave it ! Skynyrd was perfection, playing “ Curtis Lowe “ which is really rare . Zz top was great, played all the hits amd didn’t dissapoint ! The venue and show was great, the refreshment prices are just rude, sheer dirty greed, How disappointing that you would gouge people in such a big way, cmon Budweiser stage, do better
The venue and the bands ZZ TOP and LEANARD SKINNER we're great. Enjoyed the evening immensely.
This was my fifth time seeing The Top. The sad passing of Dusty left me somewhat skeptical so needless to say, I was blown away by the addition of Elwood … he absolutely rocks ! I was so glad the boys were able to make that transition. Frank was kickin the skins as per usual … no let down there. Last but not least .. Mr Gibbons .. he never ceases to amaze me. A master bluesman axeman and personality. The set was loud, proud and right on point. The audio and video was top shelf .. a very slick production. Well done boys .. thanks for keeping The Top alive .. can’t wait until we see you again 👍🏻😎 Duke
Lynyrd Skynard fantastic zz top not that great uncle cracked great just to short 39mins
