  • Where's the Beef???

    by sam7jakob3 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Unfortunetally for the size of venue, the show lacked the BIG named Monster Trucks. The drivers that were there put on a fantastic show as always, but for a Rogers Centre show it just wasn't enough. Usually the event is fast paced with action at all times, but this event lacked the action at some times. For example, at intermission there were no remote control cars to entertain and the Supercross, even though a spectacular show, was way too short to fully enjoy. Even the judges for the FreeStyle event lacked the enthusiasm and skill to rate the performances. To see two fantastic freestyle performances get low ratings showed lack of respect for the lesser known name drivers. Hopefully next year Monster Jam will provide Toronto audiences with a show to remember.

  • Monster trucks too laid bad

by Repoman on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

They should not have to back to back days of shows. The first show seems that they are tryn to 'save' the trucks and not giving an all out show!

  • monster jam was disappointing

    by chippy12 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

I have been purchasing tickets for the last several years for my family and I to attend and it seems every year it gets worse. We were disappointed with the monster trucks that did not attend this year such as Batman, Superman, Mutt, and Ninja turtle to name a few. Also other than Grave Digger and American Guardian Angel who put on a great show, the rest failed to be entertaining at all. I will not be purchasing tickets for Monster Jam in Toronto for next year unless I know things have improved.

  • Monster Jam disapointment

    by truckguy25 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

Was a total let down. Expected to see name trucks from monster jam and the only 3 there were Gravedigger ,Bounty Hunter and El toro Loco. No where near the American Show. Would never go again unless I knew the truck line up in advance. Even the add on events , motorcross freestyle and derby were poor and short. Very disapointed at this Canadian Monster Jam event. Wish I could get mymoney back.

  • Monster Jam 1 day later

by JBCO on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

This year's version was very good as it featured maximum time/emphasis on the Monster Trucks. Other years too much time was spent on old pickup truck races and motorbike races. This emphasis allowed the big trucks to have more time in the free style portion of the competition which everyone loves. The closing with the demo derby is also a much enjoyed part of the show and completes the afternoon nicely. The only change I would like to see is an earlier start like 12:30PM or 1:00PM particularly because one doesn't get home till 6PM or later on a Sunday which cerrtainly delays dinner!

  • more stars needed

by doublelive on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

on sat. night a lot of the trucks broke down. The field needed to be alittle stronger. The addition of 4 trucks would have made the differance.the top 7 headlining trucks in this field should have been.1-grave digger,2maximum destruction 3 .el toro loco. 4bounty hunter. 5 monster mutt.,6.batman,and finally 7 superman. With these trucks in the field it would have led to great racing as well as an awesome freestyle.

  • MonsterJam - Spectacular

    by Sunshine174 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Great event, age is not an issue. Children of all ages loved this, complete with all the noise and flipped trucks. Disappointed with the lack of big name trucks. Other than Grave Digger and Bounty Hunter, other participants weren't well known.

  • Boring

by hadtoleave on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

They just kept doing 2 trucks racing around in circles and moving on to the next round. Extremely boring.

  • totally forgettable

by sqcircles on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

Absolutely boring, not worth the time or money.......not much action, very predictable and I think very amateurish!!!

  • monster trucks not so monster

by Acmemom on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Although we all had a good time I found the show a little slow and lacking excitement. We have been going for about 8 years and every year it seem like less is happening, especially in the down times.

  • Monster Jam Great Entertainment Value

by warwiac on 2010-01-18Ford Field - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

What can I say, that was the best entertainment value out there. Huge Trucks destroying things and being destroyed. You can't beat it!

  • Monster trucks rocked!

by kimiagogo on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Event was great. The two 4 year olds with us had a blast. The only thing I noticed was that the tickets were listed with an extra cost to do a preshow pit party (which we did not pay for) but when we got to the Rogers Center, the pit party was completely accessbile to anyone.

  • Monster Jam was a great night out!

by cyared on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The kids loved it but there was some disappointment with so many trucks breaking down in the middle of races. This made the event drag on a bit. But it made up for it when there were several truck flipovers right infont of us! They also really enjoyed how well Grace Digger did this year as well as the dirt bike free styling.

  • Monster Jam stunk

by Anonymous on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

We have been going to Monster Jam for the last three years and the first year was the best time. All the big names were there Spiderman, Batman, Ninja Turtle etc and of course Gravedigger. The show was good(3 yrs ago) but for the last two years the big names have not been there and this year was the worst for sure. Absolutely no big names except Gravedigger and it was so bad that you actually saw the other truck stop to let Gravedigger go through and pass the other truck and of course Gravedigger won. It was so bad I will not be back next year which is sad since it has been a tradition for the boys to go but it was a waste of time and money.

  • Monster Jam - Toronto

by meck on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Last year was better. It seems the A list doesn't come.

  • Monster Jam

    by lt01 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The event was good, but it seems to be losing some of the excitement. It has been better in the past when there is more of a light show and better music.

  • MonsterJam 2010

    by Laurent1011 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Nothing compared to last years event. 4 big names out of the whole line up of trucks. Where was Max D and the rest of the crew?? One truck blew a tire in the race and never bothered changing it for free style. Free style was pretty lame, not much big air, all broke down doing nothing, you wont see this show on Speed TV, not enough action/crashes. We'll be back next year but they better have a better show cause it will be the last one.
