  • MONSTER JAMMMMMM!!!!

by Anonymous on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

We had a fantastic time, as usual. 3rd year in a row, and many to come.

  • Monster Jam was not as memorable this year

by Ebeez on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

I have taken my son every year for the past 4 years and this year was the most forgettable experience. In particular the Freestyle Monster Truck was somewhat disappointing. There were only 2 trucks that really gave it any real effort and of course 1 of them was Grave Digger. The others literally ran the course with little enthusiasm. My son (now 9) still enjoyed it but had the same thoughts... not nearly as exciting as the past years events. Although I must must say the feestyle motorcross was excellent!... would like to seem more of them in future events. Hopefully next year will be better....

  • Does Grave Digger always win?

    by Kilby02 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Monster Jam was great of course and motocross guys were amazing, now I want to go to that event in March. But really, must Grave Digger always win? In the freestyle, it truly seemed like some of the other trucks didn't give it their all.

  • Monster Jam was average

canadian monster jam is not like the american monster jam They were advertising Maxiuim destruction and he didn't even come alot of trucks starting out. canada doesn't get the same trucks as america maybe not enoght money here for them. i remember like 6 years ago when it was really good when they had bikes, truck races and this huge robot that come out and had some cars to eat and they had 2 sets of smash up derby this year on 6 cylenders :(

  • Monster Jam Mayhem!

    by Skyhawk713 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

It was quite a show, the drivers consistantly try to wow the crowd and push the envelope even farther than the larger than life swager they allready have. The half times show of motocross aerobatic stunts was a pleasent suprise and made the night even more unforgetable. With the unfortunate breakdowns for more than 3 trucks, during not so spectacular stunts, rendering them incabable of continuing was a bit of a let down. But such is life, and of course allows the other drivers to have the opprotunity to really give the crowd a good show. Excellent job gentelment, you continue to put on one hell of a show ;)

  • Loved it!!!

by Kybrennan on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I know nothing about Monster Trucks. My husband and his brother were supposed to take our almost 3 year old as he LOVES Monster Trucks. They ended up having to go out of town for work, so I ended up taking our son. What a BLAST!!! We had so much fun - waving our GraveDigger flags and eating popcorn! I would go again in a heartbeat!

I have attended Monster Jam for the past three years with my Grandchildren and was totally dissapointed this year. The big name trucks are not coming to your event at the Rogers Centre and the ones that you had were not up to professional quality. Not sure if I will waste my money next year on the event.

  • Monster Jam - Not as good this year

    by Aden07 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

We attended Monster Jam last year and were amazed by the quality of the performance. However, this year, many of the trucks took it easy, not doing the exciting things that they are known for, and by the end, most of the trucks had broken down. My son enjoyed the show, but overall, I was a bit disappointed - especially that there were no women drivers this year. The only redeeming factor was Grave Digger - their team seems to know how to put on a real show. And...we arrived early for the pit party, only to be turned away - it was advertised to go until 1PM, but we were turned away at 12:30. If they were going to close the gates at 12:30, then that should have been adverstised.

  • Monster Jam was awesome

by Bteamrep on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Went to the sunday afternoon show with my husband, very enjoyable. Would recommend ear plug use. Freestyle motorcross and demo. derby good use of down time. Dissappointed that Maximum Destruction, an Escalade, and Monster Mutt were not there, and an alternate driver was in for Grave Digger, probably had an "circuit gig" All in all, a great time

  • Disappointing Monster Jam

    by Sean44 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

This was my fourth monster jam, and by far the worst I have seen. During the racing segment, barely half the trucks could stay operational to actually give a show, which only got worse during the freestyle. Four trucks went the full free style time, and most were due to mechanical issues. As for the four who finished, only 2 actually gave a show, thank goodness for Gravedigger. I realize breakdowns happen, but seriously, it's not like they've never faced these issue before. Definitely my last Monster Jam, don't waste the money

  • Monster Jam Great Night

by YSpike on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Monster Jam was a great show. Lots of action, lots of trucks, and a demo derby at the end! Awesome show for the whole family.

  • Great for the kids

by monsterjammum on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

This was my first time taking my 3 years old to Monster Jam. It was a great time. I do recommend that you bring ear protection.

  • MONSTER JAM

    by carguy007 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The night was just FANTASTIC!. It started off with a "pit party" where you can get right up close and takes a gazillion pictures. Then the qualifiers, the race, and the BEST part of the night was the FREE STYLE where the drivers go and try and TRASH their trucks. THE ONLY pitfall was the PRICE of everything! I mean, c'mon, $10.00 for ONE can of beer?!?!??!? HOLY CRAP!!! You can drop a $100.00 bill in five minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Show only had 3 big name trucks (and that was including Grave Digger). Kids enjoyed the show!

  • Monster Jams Rocks again

by pakrsfn on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Excellent show, great value for the dollar! Access to the drivers is key in the pit party, all the "kids" liked it. Hopefully better known trucks next year.

  • Monster Jam delivered

    by Northman1 on 2010-01-18Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The show delivered, as expected. If you're planning on attending any monster truck event, bring earplugs - seriously, you'll need them. The trucks break down a lot so expect delays in the show. Grave Digger is so much better than all of the other trucks, it makes me wonder if somehow the show is staged. Roger's Centre security need to do a bit more to control the drunks. Idiots in front of us spoiled it for the kids a bit. Overall, good show - great for kids... with ear protection. Motocross stunts were amazing.
