Alan Doyle on Tour
In 2019, Alan Doyle released the single "We Don't Wanna Go Home," a duet with B.C. country star Dean Brody. It's a title that perfectly sums up Doyle's career on the road. As frontman for Canadian roots-rock institution Great Big Sea, he spread the beery good cheer from coast to coast and beyond for the better part of 20 years, and since that band's dissolution in 2013, he's continued to live up to his well-earned road-warrior reputation as a solo artist. Backed by his reliable support crew The Beautiful Beautiful Band, Doyle delivers a healthy serving of Great Big Sea classics and selections from his three solo albums to date: Boy On Bridge (2012), So Let's Go (2015) and A Week at the Warehouse (2017). An Alan Doyle show is both an occasion to have a good time and to support a good cause — he's known to donate proceeds from ticket sales to mental-health and addiction-treatment organizations.

As a singer/guitarist for the rambunctious roots combo Great Big Sea, Alan Doyle helped transform the Newfoundland band from regional pub phenomenon into one of Canada's most successful and celebrated bands. Between their 1993 formation and 2013 dissolution, the group racked up seven Top 10 placements and 11 Juno Award nominations. And since launching his solo career with 2012's Boy on Bridge, he hasn't relented in his lifelong mission to deliver joyously anthemic, pint-sloshing, Celtic-kissed singalongs. But Doyle's musical pursuits have run parallel to an eclectic acting career that includes credits in such films as Winter's Tale and Ridley Scott's Robin Hood. (Fittingly, he's developed an ongoing creative partnership with another singing actor, Russell Crowe, who invited Doyle to write for his 2005 album, My Hand, My Heart, leading to a full-album collaboration between the two, The Crowe/Doyle Songbook, Vol. III, in 2011.) Doyle's myriad achievements earned him entry into the Order of Canada in 2017, and he's reflected upon his charmed life in two bestselling memoirs, Where I Belong (2014) and A Newfoundlander in Canada (2018).

You just can't go wrong when you buy Alan Doyle tickets. Some halls are better than others of course but wherever you see him you'll be at a Newfoundland kitchen party, up and dancing and hands sore from clapping in no time.
Alan Doyle and the Beautiful Beautiful Band are excellent. Worth attending. Extremely talented performers. Entertainment at its finest.

The Burt is a great venue! The lead act was great. Talented lyricist and pianist. The headliner Alan Doyle is a favourite from way back! Value for dollar in terms of ticket price.
Alan Doyle delivers the best who as always. the opening act was worth it, Adam Baldwin delivers . The Burton Cummings Theatre as a venue, is an intimate experience that provides you with feeling of a private party. My favourite place to attend concerts.
Thr concert was amazing! The opening act, Adam Baldwin, was funny and entertaining. Alan Doyle and his band engaged with the audience and looked like they were having a great time. Best kitchen party I've ever been to!

Alan Doyle and his Beautiful Band never fail to amaze me and leave me with an extreme sense of joy. Their attitude and stage presence is second to none in a great venue like the Burt. My only complaint is that he is never in Winnipeg long enough to see him two nights in a row.
The show was excellent, Allan Doyle works the crowd, he’s a wonderful showman and certainly knows how to put on a great show.
This performer and his team are amazing in person. Flawless singing, acoustics, instrumentals. I got tickets to this show for my husband for our anniversary, he is a huge Alan Doyle fan. I’ve never really minded either way, but his performance was outstanding and I loved it! The whole crew and him work so well together. Go see this show!!!
Alan doyle and the band were amazing. Only downfall for me was the venue. Their were empty seats everywhere and unable to move to allow a person to actually breathe. Secondly the light show can sometimes be blinding. In a venue such as jubilee maybe the lights can be redirected out of peoples eyes. There were many times I could not see the performers due to momentary blindness from the white LED lights.
Alan Doyle and his band gave a 100% performance that brought joy to the entire audience. Seeing his happiness at performing made the rest of us happy too. High energy, and great memories. Thank you, Alan for an inspired and rollicking evening. His backing band, and backing singers were great too. Adam Baldwin was a super warm up act. Great humour, great music. A very talented performer. What a piano player! This show exceeded my expectations. I hope Alan has many more tours in the future. I would love to see all of them. Thanks to all the performer for a magical evening. In spite of a broken bus and long wait in Red Deer, you brought your best selves.
Had so much fun with Alan Doyle and band and Adam Baldwin at The Jubilee!! He had everyone up singing and dancing along with him- such an entertaining evening!!
