Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Tickets

The concert was absolutely breathtaking! The dancers were so flexible and movements so smooth. The choreography was spectacular! We were in awe of the Revelation dance!

The entire dance sequence was well-choreographed, and well-executed. The costumes were well-suited, and the moves(the swan-line fanning of the arms) were made with gracefulness. The funny bits added every now and then, such as the lady dancer lifts up the man,...I liked the last sequence --the lady with the fan-- the best; well done!

Loved loved loved the dancing and so wonderful to have Hannah Alissa from Toronto be on stage as part of the Alvin Ailey dance theatre.. beautiful performance with magical music

This isn't the first time I've attended an Alvin Ailey's Performance and it wouldn't be the last. I've never left feeling disappointed. Exceptional dancers/performers and story tellers. Love Love Love

Feb. 4 Matinee An awesome and an amazing performance. So excited to hear Alvin Ailey back! Was an annual "sister's day and birthday" and was enjoyed again. Never disappointed always amazed. Hope to be at the next one in the Toronto or neighbouring area. A wondrous experience.

Alvin Ailey Dance company delivered...yet again. Technical. Beautiful. Moving.

This was my sixth time I have seen this ballet. 1st time in my 20s, now in my 70s. obviously dancers change over time but their production, energy & the quality of the dancers’ moves have always been exceptional. One cannot leave this performance without feeling exhuberant.

Energetic and beautiful Alvin Ailey never disappoints!

The performance was outstanding and it was such joy to watch. I truly enjoyed the performance and I will definitely see them again if they visit Toronto again. The dancers are awesome.

Strong artistic beautiful dancers! The choreography was so creative and lovely. I was blown away by the diverse use of music: opera, spirituals and real jazz music. The dancers danced with the music not to the music!

Everything about the show was breathtaking, from the music to the stories the dancers told with their grace and athleticism. I hadn't seen the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre for several years and was so glad I managed to get tickets to the Saturday matinee. I hope they come back again soon.

Third time seeing this show, both previous times being unforgettable. This time, however, was lacking for me as it wasn't as crisp and in sync as it had been in the past. I wasn't as moved like I was the first two times seeing it.

I am a HUGE fan and have seen them in Toronto & NYC at least 4 times. I am normally blown away & hence why I keep seeing them. This performance although technically sound did not have the same exuberance & intensity that one expects from an Alvin Ailey performance. I was disappointed but will see them again in the hopes that this was a ‘one off’.

The dancers moved and flowed so beautifully - I could have watched them for another hour! The choreography was fabulous! I rarely jump to my feet at the curtain call...I was swept up...

I loved Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre's performance in Toronto. They debuted new pieces but stayed true to the classics. They transported the audience back in time, to the present and made us look forward to the future.

All the pieces in the program were new to me and they were absolutely delightful. I especially enjoyed the pieces done to the Jazz Masters - the choreography were mesmerizing, fast and fun. Unfold gave me goose bumps, it was so amazing - the choice of the Aria only added to the dance. As always Revelations was a delight - it does not matter how many times I see this, it is just fun and enjoyable. Overall, a most enjoyable evening which whizzed by on wings. Thank you.
