Another Great AI concert

AMERICAN IDOL will heat up arenas across North America, when AMERICAN IDOLS LIVE! returns for another summer jaunt, showcasing performances by this season's top 11.
AMERICAN IDOLS LIVE! 2011 lineup promises to be the most memorable yet given the diverse and daring talent on the roster, and it's hitting markets all across North America with 45 dates confirmed. The top 11 comprising the tour—Casey Abrams, Haley Reinhart, Jacob Lusk, James Durbin, Lauren Alaina, Naima Adedapo, Paul McDonald, Pia Toscano, Scotty McCreery, Stefano Langone, and Thia Megia —are primed and pumped to give fans a night of unique and unforgettable performances.
AMERICAN IDOL remains the #1 rated show in America, watched more than any other programming, and it's because of the amazing talent. This year, iconic judges Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler, and Jennifer Lopez went through a tight race to narrow the contestants down for America to decide who will be the next big star. Their wisdom, candor, and sense of humor continue to propel the show along at a lightning pace.
Watching AMERICAN IDOL at home is always enjoyable, but seeing these artists live is an experience. Past tours have featured current pop luminaries such as Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, David Cook, Adam Lambert, Lee DeWyze and so many more. Every summer, the tour keeps IDOL alive in arenas everywhere allowing the audiences the chance to get up close and personal with their favorite contestants. This top eleven will have crowds on their feet singing along to every word. Get ready...
The AMERICAN IDOL season finale will air on FOX May 26th, but the action will continue live on stage all summer with AMERICAN IDOLS LIVE! Don't miss it when it hits a town near you.
I really love the format of the show for the past two years. It's more like a concert. I really liked how they incorporated everyone as the backup singers.
Fantastic show! Was very pleased that they preformed some of my favorites songs from the show. Singing live, they sound even better than on television and I am envious of the audience that got to hear them every week. They seemed energetic and preformed with gusto which I find amazing when it has to be done over and over during a concert tour. The song choices were mainly geared for a younger crowd. The Toronto audience was mostly made up of middle aged adults and may not have related to some of the music. I am 40 an brought my 16 yr old daughter and my 70 yr old mom. We three generations watched the show and loved the concert!
Wow. Just wow. My friend and I decided on buying VIP tickets for this concert, as we are both HUGE American Idol fans - and we were definitely not disappointed. As we were given our VIP passes, we were allowed early access to the venue. We then joined a line to get our picture taken with the 9 idols (The email does state that all 10 idols may not be present) and they are so welcoming! The photographer allowed us to stand beside whoever we wanted and they take your photo The only thing I didn't really care for during the group photo was that they allowed other people to be in your photo (even though they ask you how many you have in your group..apparently that doesn't matter?) anyway, it wasn't that big of a deal. After the group photo, they had lines for the idols and you stood in the line of whoever you wanted to see - and the bigger the line, they had people taking stuff you wanted to get signed just incase time ran out, you still received an autograph. And then there was the concert! It was absolutely amazing! All the idols gave it their all, and really appreciated Canada - which was a lovely gesture, seeing as how Canadians are not allowed to vote. All in all, the experience was unforgettable, and I'd definitely do it again!
OK, I have been to the idol show for the past 4 years This year was the cheesiest so far!! They need to hire a better choreographer and a new stylist. I felt so sorry for them with the of the outfits they were made to wear!! The singing was OK. Joshua was the best hands down and in my opinion should have won the whole thing!!! He was the only one that got a standing ovation for "its a man's world" FANTASTIC!!! I would definitely go see him in concert. Elise was good too I really felt sorry for the winner Philip Phillips, he is painfully shy and it showed on stage He barely opened his eyes while he sang and he had no abililty to move around the stage, ahhh. I don't know what idol is planning to do with him, maybe he will just be another artist that we never hear from again, just like so many of the other american idols.
My mother and I really enjoyed the show. Most of the singers were fantastic. Song choices could have been a bit better. We would have liked to see the actually winner of the show perform more than the last 20 minutes.
Loved the concert so much. The energy, the excitement and the over-all show were fantastic. The caliber of talent was beyond belief. Already looking forward to next year's Idol tour!
The entire show was professional. The cast looked to be having loads of fun, it was infectious! An allround great evening!
All of the idols were better live than watching them on TV. There was a great range of music from Country to R&B. Very entertaining show. The audience was on their feet for much of the performance. Lots of fun and interaction with the crowd. Someone threw a bra on stage during a performance by Philip and he laughed so much he could hardly finish the song. Great time was had by all.
My wife and I didn't know what to expect from this show. We went mainly to watch our favourite Idol ... Jessica Sanchez. To our pleasant surprise, these young performers, from beginning to end, delivered a very enjoyable show. Their show was even better than previous venues that we have paid for a whole lot more. Congratulations to the producers of this show! The American Idol performers were amazing! Last but not least ... the sound engineer did a very good job mixing the audio!
Loved the show but wished Phillip would have done one song different from the songs he did on idol and also felt he should have had more time since he is the STAR. Erica was very impressive and Colton's performance was wonderful. I liked the gobo lighting effect but did not like the spot lights in the eyes. Put them on the performers so we can see their faces. The sound wasn't as loud as I thought it would be but when some sang loud it was hard to understand the words. The top 10 are very talented and I would love to see them in a smaller venue. Great family show and I would certainly go again.
We were very excited to see these very talented young people perform. They did an excellent job with high energy and enthusiasm but unfortunately, the volume of the sound system was sooooo loud that everything was muffled and we weren't able to understand any of the words of the songs. The sound volume of the backup band also drowned out the singers. Even when the performers talked, we were not able to understand what they were saying. This review is, in no way, a reflection on the talent of the young performers.
I am an Idol "junkie" and the 2012 Top 10 didn't disappoint! Such an amazing group of talented young artists. Joshua singing It's a Man's World was totally over the top...amazing. It's one thing to see it on your TV but to be in the third row at a live concert is a totally different experience, I loved Joshua from the first time I heard him on the show. His performance brought me to my feet with tears in my eyes! LOVE HIM! Philip is a very refreshing artist, so REAL! Each and every one of the artists were certainly at their best. So glad the finalists come to Toronto every year! Can't wait for 2013!
All of the singers have gotten so much better than when they were on the show. It's amazing to hear how great they sing now. It was a very entertaining show and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
oh my gosh! the show was awesome. my sister and i really enjoyed it. great performances and great crowd too.

My kids and I watched this years season every week. We all had our favorites. When I heard about tickets going on sale for the tour I HAD to get them. I took my oldest 2 girls (12 & 10) to the show. It was thier first concert and WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!!! Best wishes for your futures - you are all so talented :o) Can't wait to see the albums and tours to come.
this event was amazing, the concert incredible. I wish I had more time to meet them all at the VIP :( it started at 5:15 and we only have 45 minutes with the idols;(
The concert was awesome. To the play list, song choices. We will definetly be going back next year.
I've been to the last 5 AI concerts. This was the best one since that first one in 2007. Very entertaining, great family night out.
