It was alright. Nothing too special. Just a serious musical with a lot of talent definitely but the story and everything else was a little too drab for me đ€·ââïž
My child and I loved the whole experience. It told a tragic story in an approachable manner. I will say the chemistry between the actors who portrayed Dmitri and Anya was amazing and believable. They worked hard and it showed. The entire cast and the stage support all worked hard and was worth the money spent. If the show came back to Edmonton, I would go back.
So I've been a fan of the movie, history, and the original soundtrack for a while now, and seeing it live was so much better than I thought it would be. Been waiting to go since they postponed in 2022 and I'm so glad I went through with it.

This show was beautiful and magical! Perfect for my 11 yr old's first professional musical theatre show. Great for all ages, beautifully performed, breathtaking costumes. We loved it
Enjoyed the show, but was a bit disappointed that there were no programs available at the door. I go to several dozen theatre shows throughout the year, and I always enjoy keeping the program from the show as a souvenir. It is not the same to have an online/QR code playbill, and is honestly too expensive to print from my printer. If itâs in an effort to conserve paper (because most people probably donât keep their programs and it ends up being a waste), then maybe make it an option upon ordering the tickets to have a copy of the program. This way enough programs are made for the people who want to keep them, and the people who donât want them can just use the online programs. Please consider this as an option; while it may seem insignificant, it would make my experience at the shows here a lot better.
Bought the tickets for my wife. It is her favorite animated movie, she loved every second of the show. Great music and amazing costumes really put her in the story.
Amazong stage set and costumes. Actors were wonderful. Definately a must see.
This is a great play. Actors are amazing and the singing is fantastic but this is not for kids. My daughter was so scared she was shaking.

The musical production of Anastasia on Friday Sept.2, was long anticipated from April 29th but it was great to be in the theatre again and seeing it live!! Fantastic costumes & sets.....some powerful singers....the ensemble I felt was a little off tuning wise at time, but certainly did not lack in energy! The range for male singers was quite high and they rose to the occasion. Impressive! The role of Anastasia was exquisite! The comic relief roles were so well done and appreciated!!!đ All in all a great show!!
Great use of integrated video; it really added to the show without making you feel like you were just watching a video. Anastasia, the lady in waiting and the officer were all outstanding.
Loved the costumes and stage design. The singing and theatrics were amazing. Went above and beyond my expectations.

Fantastic music, vocals, scenery, and acting. The show truly transports you and brings feelings of nostalgia. Masterpiece. Also Anastasiaâs voice was beyond beautiful. Better than most artists out there.
Great experience. Singing, dancing and beautiful sets what more do you want. I would even go again that was how good it was.

Great show- the costumes were magnificent. It felt a bit Disney-esque with some the dance of the choreography and movements on stage. The ballet scene was the one disappointment as the lead male dressed in white was not a ballet dancer and struggled with his part- this was very evident. Having just seen Hamilton, this was not of the same calibre yet was still entertaining.
I have waited so long to see this play and I am not disappointed. I loved everything about this musical (the cast, the costumes, the music, etc). I would pay to go see it again.
