Loved every things about Anastasia. The cast and their performance. The singers and their amazing vocals, the acting, the dancers, the decor and costumes. Everything was thought to the smallest details. Just amazing.
This musical has some beautiful music, sung wonderfully by this cast. The sets and costumes are also beautiful. The production didn’t seem quite as grand as I’d expected, and although the ensemble of musicians was more than capable, I prefer a full orchestra sound. I enjoyed the show very much but was disappointed that there were no printed programmes as I usually read these before the show starts and couldn’t read it on my phone.
The show was amazing. Very well done. However i am not giving a 5 as i was tortured sitting on the front seat for which i paid a big ticket only to find no leg room. NAC wants to compensate for the 2 year loss under COVID by stacking more rows of seats regardless of whether or not people will be sitting comfortably. So show yes yes logistics big zero.
The show was amazing and by far the best I've seen in a long time. The songs and music were so entertaining to watch and customes were so beautiful!
We saw Anastasia on Broadway in New York in the winter, and we’re dazzled by the set, costumes, singing and acting. Seeing the play in Detroit was kind of flat. The sound wasn’t as clear and some of the characters were so so. We have always enjoyed Broadway shows at the Fisher Theatre but this one was disappointing!!
