    Terrible Sound

by Surfacenoise on 2012-10-04The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Although Testament and Anthrax put on a good show, the sound guy obviously had no clue of what he was doing. All you could hear was bass. Probably the worst sound I've ever encountered in 25 years of going to concerts. Because of this, I left before Anthrax finished their set. A waste of $45.

    DEATH ANGEL Rocked My World!

by SlyB on 2012-10-03The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I went solely to see Death Angel and I wasn't dissapointed. Not only was I right up at the stage, each band member signed my DVD after the show and after chasing them down a bit! They so deserve to be a head lining act! Truly FANTASTIC! Testament and Anthrax were fantastic as well, but truly, DEATH ANGEL is the reason I went! They are so tight as a band and their performance has so much energy and they truly love the fans and oh my god, I can't give them enough accolades!

great in general, meet & greet disappointment

by bodza037 on 2012-10-03The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

really great metallihead show indeed. anthrax should have had longer set list but anyways. however meet & greet was totally disappointment. less than 5 minutes with the band, just some signing of cd's or so, one bad quality picture with the band (the guy who took a shot didn't rise the flash and made some poor quality picture) and that was it. the guys didn't seem to be in the best mood for talking, everything looks like in rush and "next please". so in summary, i will recommend the show 100% but meet & greet: NEVER AGAIN

    Triple Bill of metal

by One1 on 2012-10-02The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

An excellent concert and the perfect venue for it. Starts off with Death Angel who were very good for a band I knew little about.. Testament came on and they also did very well with an 80 minute set. Alot better than Heavy TO # 1, 14 MONTHS AGO . Anthrax didn't disappoint with their 90 minute set. It made for a great saturday night..It made me yearn for a BIG FOUR possibilty happening in Canada some day.

Great show from where I was sitting.

by rockerforever on 2012-10-02The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

There was a lot of excitement that lead up to this show. People were lined up waiting to get in at 7:00 pm for this sold out concert. All the seats were removed from the floor of the hall except for the balcony. First band was Death Angel they were great playing music that was very complex and took alot of talent to play. The singer had an awesome voice and scream. Testament were amazing the drummer for the band is one of the best in the business. Highlights included the new SIngle "Native Blood: and "More Than Meets The Eye" Anthrax were welcomed with almost everyone in the theatre standing. HIghlights included "Caught in a Mosh" and "Indians" as well as" Antisocial'.and "I Am The Law" The seats on the balcony were very comfortable and the beer was nice and cold. Great view of the mosh pit from up there as well. Really great show I hope they come back again next year.

    Death Angel Testament

by SLAYERFREAKINRULES on 2012-10-02The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Both Death Angel and Testament where awesome!!!!!! didn't stay for Anthrax not much of a fan. First time seeing Death Angel and hopefully not the last, these guys kicked ass!!! Testament where at their best tearing through old and new songs, new drummer Gene Hoglan lived up to his "Atomic Clock" nick name this guy is a BEAST on the drums and Alex Skolnick never ceases to amaze with his insane guitar playing.

    Testament is a machine live!!

by Mayhem71 on 2012-10-01Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Wow to say the word machine would best describe Alex skolnick and eric peterson of testament they play together like they have been for 50 years they are so tight and lightining quick riffs that will make your head spin i have seen them live a few times but i would for sure have to say that the 2 kingpin guitar players get better with age no doubt about it!!

    Anthrax blew me away

by queeniewahini on 2012-09-28Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

The show (what we saw) was phenomenal!! The tickets said the show started at 8pm and so we missed Death Angel as we heard they played at 7pm and was done by the time we got to the venue. Testament and Anthrax both had amazing musicianship and showmanship. Both bands exuded fun with their intensity and how much they were smiling as well. Everything was great I had no complaints other than wanting to hear more songs!

    Bacilis Anthracis

by Badreligion777 on 2012-09-25Edmonton Event Centre - Edmonton

Pure American Thrash. This show was a real treat for fans of thrash metal, and metal as a whole. It was nearly guarantied that Testament and Anthrax played at least one song that everybody at EEC knew that they could sing along to. Joey Belladonna is back in the Anthrax line up which is nice to see. His time with Anthrax represented a very high point in the band's initial popularity, and having him back does the songs true (lone) justice. Higlights included Chuck Billy. I mean just Chuck Billy, the guy is a beast, he air guitared on his luminescent wireless mic the whole show, classic. All bands played their hearts out and seemed to be in great form given that the era of thrash to some is very nostalgic, and something of an artifact dug up from the late 80s/ early 90s which pioneered the way for new bands to come. Good show guys.
