So many hits and fan favourites played, two hours isn’t enough…
The Arkells put on an amazing show! Very personable with the audience, loved his dancing & energy! Poolside was super chill. Loved the combination of the two bands together.
Never a dull moment. Dance and sing the night away!! Do not miss these guys if they're rolling through your area.
Arkell's put on such an engaging, authentic, rocking show. Ticket master process seamless. Saddledome venue clean and efficient. Thank You! we loved it
I’ve seen the Arkells 3 times now and everytime they put on a phenomenal show. Max is a real showman and the rest of the band are just as entertaining!
Arkells put on one of the most entertaining and interactive shows you can go to! Always on my concert list!
Great show! Love the Arkells and the vibe they bring. Such a fun, atmosphere and energy. What a great night
Incredible energy and crowd engagement, all the hits and a sprinkle of deep cuts.
Arkells have never disappointed. Their concerts are always some of the very best I have been to. I’ll never miss a show.
What an incredible show. This band goes all out with their energy and their interactions with the fans. Music was great, night was amazing and would see this band a million times over because they really put on a great show. 10/10 would recommend. Great family show aswell.
I’ve never once had a bad time at an Arkells show, they just keep getting BETTER. Their sound, their energy, their crowd work - all second to none. Even in an arena they make you feel like you’re seeing them in the most intimate venue. Their love for the music, and the fans, is nothing short of intoxicating. 10/10, can’t wait for the next one!
I have been a low-key Arkells' fan for a while, and really love their song Skin which l listen to obsessively in my day-to-day life. I wanted to check out a live performance from them when they came to Edmonton and WOW was I glad that I did! The energy from their frontman Max Kerman was incredible and kept us on our feet all night long. And the band constantly kept you guessing as they swept you through their incredible setlist, from big horn dance numbers, to intimate, quiet songs, to Max and the band bopping their way through the crowd to belt out their hits. Every song was excellent and pulled me right in. I got goosebumps multiple times throughout the night because the performance was so good. But my hands-down favourite thing was the band's obvious chemistry with each other. They seemed to really enjoy each other and would gather around once in a while to jam and just check in with each other. It seemed very pure and natural and truly touched my heart. I have now made it my business to listen to every one of their songs and I will NEVER miss them again when they come through town. If you haven't seen this band live and are on the fence, do yourself a favour and go! As a Canadian, I couldn't have been more proud to watch a world-class performance from the Arkells and I am officially a fan for life!
From Max's first words - "Get up on your feet, Edmonton, it's Friday night!"the whole place was dancing, singing, and loving the energy.
Went to the show in Edmonton on 1 November with my 15 year old. Been looking forward to it ever since buying the tickets way back in early summer. It did not disappoint. They were phenomenal. Super entertaining, great set list, awesome staging. Loved the horn section - it was fantastic. Loved how engaging Max was with the crowd and how he involved people and tried to connect with Edmonton. Haven't been to a concert in a long time and I loved actually feeling the bass and the music in my body. My 15 year old however mostly sat in the concourse because it was just too loud. They had their sound meter app on their phone and it was showing the volume as well over 100 dB, which without hearing protection can lead to permanent hearing loss in 10-15 minutes. Now I love to crank the tunes in the car, but it's never to the point of pain. So my question is, why do the front of house sound people insist on keeping the levels the so high? The concert and the Arkells themselves - singing the praises to high heaven, only I think that they wouldn't be able to hear anything in heaven over the volume of the show. I was wearing earplugs and my kiddo was wearing noise cancelling headphones, but it was still too loud. So maybe consider implementing volume/sound quality strategies that don't detract from the enjoyment and pumping up the crowd, that don't come at the cost of people's comfort and safety.
I’ve seen this band a couple of times and they put on a great show. I love this Canadian band, they sound exactly the same live as on the radio. ❤️ the Arkells
This was amazing. it was so positive and happy that it lifted me right up and i’m still sitting on that cloud
What a fantastic show. High energy and very entertaining. Got the audience up and on their feet right from the start. I am a new fan and look forward to seeing them live again
My 10th Arkells show since 2022 and now my most-seen-live band. Arkells concerts are SO fun as they never fail to put 1000% into every gig. No two shows are the same…there are always surprises and cute bits that show their unparalleled relationship with their fans. You will be standing, dancing and singing all night…. so start memorizing the lyrics now!! Took my whole family to the show to celebrate a family milestone and I couldn’t think of any better place to be than Canada Life Place with all our Arkellian fam. Can’t wait for Kitchener next month! 🫶🏽
This was my first ever Arkells show and Im honestly thinking of buying a ticket to the Kitchener show ❤️ Amazing energy and played every song I love! Even though I was in the 300s section Max made sure to come all the way back there to make us feel like we were on the floor. Canadian bands hit so differently. Thanks for a great night guys
