Imagine a world consumed by all-powerful bass driven rhythm and colossal seismic frequencies. Sounds of dystopian, futuristic worlds envelop the senses and control the movements of your body as the spectacular audiovisual experience of an Excision show takes hold. The stage shatters worlds with massive stacks of soul-shaking subwoofers, streams of mind-blowing lasers painting entire stadiums, flashes of multicolor lights, immersive visuals transporting you to other dimensions, and as much flame and pyrotechnics as you can fit into a performance.
In 2024, Excision will embark on his biggest, most ambitious tour yet, Nexus, bringing his signature bass music and cutting-edge stage technology all across North America. For the first time, fans in every city will be getting the full Excision concert experience.
DJ, producer and festival creator Excision (Jeff Abel) resides at the epicenter of an ever-expanding realm of the Bass Music genre. Hailing from Kelowna, British Columbia, Abel is a pioneer of the North American Dubstep scene with over 17 years of relentless touring, cultivating a huge, passionate community at shows and festivals around the world. His expansive discography traverses a wide range of bass sounds across five full-length studio albums, countless EPs and singles, 17 annual fan-favorite mixes and numerous live recordings, amassing well over 2 billion streams globally.
Under his event production arm Excision Presents, he has created world-renowned music festivals like the prehistoric juggernaut Lost Lands, breathtaking Bass Canyon, beach resort fest Paradise Blue, and major regional concerts like The Thunderdome of Seattle, The Armory in Minneapolis, Mile High in Denver, The Stadium in Los Angeles and more. These branded events combine to bring out hundreds of thousands of headbangers each year. Broader audiences can also catch Excision headlining at legendary festivals such as EDC Las Vegas, Ultra, Tomorrowland, Lollapalooza, Electric Zoo and Shambhala.
On the recording side, Excision founded Subsidia Records in 2020 as a followup to his previous imprint Rottun Recordings. Subsidia continues to release groundbreaking tunes from emerging artists with a goal of celebrating and pushing forward the wide breadth of subgenres that culminate in bass music. The label has provided release opportunities for over 100 producers, introducing them to new fans and fostering their continued growth as artists.
Excision's influence can be felt in every facet of the industry. Though he has already established a legendary brand, he is continually striving to help the community grow. Last year, he launched the Bass Music Initiative which sponsored ten up-and-coming bass artists with funds and support to help them advance in their music careers. He says, "Everything I do is focused around the mission of helping Bass Music grow, while still staying true to itself. We have such a caring and loving group of people involved within this scene, and I hope the music will help more people find their home within it."

Crazy show omg !!!! Best set , crazy visual , can we go back?!
Absolutely monumental experience of visuals, lasers, fire and BASS
Five stars isnât even enough! First time ever seeing excison live and it was everything i had wished & hoped for. Amazing performance and visuals, top tier guests and the crowd was such a vibe. The tickets were very affordable also considering it was a 4 hour show. No questions asked I will definitely be at his next shows anytime he will be back in town :)
The Excision show was the best visual concert experience that I have ever seen. My mind was blown. Venue wise the workers were very rude and all bar staff seemed as if they had never bartended a show before.
Everything from the sound, the custom production, the venue, and the crowd were absolutely perfect. Earplugs were provided by the venue and were absolutely necessary. I've never felt bass like that in my life. The visuals on display combined with the lasers and lights make for an almost overwhelming experience. 10/10 show, highly recommend.
From the openers to the venue space to the AC in the venue to extensions performance with the lasers and sound quality and everything was fantastic. Only complaint I have was the bar lines.. other than that it was a spectacular show, and I would love for him to come back to Woodbine again.
The artists were great and the excision Dino was a blast. The venue however was very unorganized and parking was hard to find.
It was like a full body and brain massage! Sooo much bass!!!
I wish I bought the 2 day ticket experience to see Excision again on the Friday. He is absolutely an amazing artist.
A must-go for every bass fan, Excision soundsystem and visuals are insane, and the sound quality is always high-tech.
So things were suppose to start off at 5:15pm at the CocaCola Colosseum with doors opening at 5. A frustrating affair as no one really knew where to line up or which entrance to use depending on whether you had floor or seats. Security spent a while hooting at each other and telling people to move to different areas since they werenât labeled. So fast forward 2 hours and the show finally starts around 7pm. Got a short but worthy Phiso set, other sets got crammed together to fit in the allotted time slot. All that aside, by the end of the PhaseOne/Downlink/Wooli set, the vibe was set and everyone was ready to pop off for Herobust and Excision. Herobust set was awesome and the Excision set with the new visuals was absolutely wild. Thatâs what I came to see and I wasnât disappointed in the slightest, absolutely crushed it. The energy in the Colosseum was next level all set. Iâm sure the bugs will get ironed, show was still well worth the money.
Besides the fact we waited 30 mins inside Coca Cola Collisium, then weâre told to go outside for our line up (spent another 25 mins) then were told we were to go BACK inside for another 2 hr wait. Very disorganized logistics, we missed out on downlinks solo set due to time loss and they made a B2b2B with Phase one and Wooli still great but we paid decent money for full sets and things to atleast run somewhat on time. Venue was over priced for alcohol- overall the djs put on a good show but the logistics of it all was very disorganized and not thought through.
Ive been to a few concerts and festivals before vut this by far blew them all away!! The light show the visuals the sound, esp the sound was INSANE. Had a blast. Definitely going to see them again
I absolutely love all of the artists that performed, but was very disappointed with the lack of organization of the whole event. People were lining up to enter and were held there far past the time when the doors were scheduled to open. There was no signage telling ticket holders where to lineup, so many people were in the wrong lines for GA or upper bowl seats. The prices of alcoholic beverages were also super high. I couldnât find the area where tour merchandise was being sold, not sure if there even was one??
Been using Ticketmaster for the longest time. Promoter saying that the event is more than 80% full; getting to the event and seeing more than half of the stadium is empty is just false advertisement and marketing strategy. I bought my ticket 1 day before they started re releasing more tickets for floor and can't make any exchanges on it. Why lie to customer that are willing to go to the event? Makes 0 sense
This was the greatest race I have every been to and I have been doing this since 2014
The visusals and sound were absolutely amazing! Drinks were very slow to get - but hey - that's normal. I heard there was a delay - but these people need to learn that shit happens - and you never show up early! Excision blew my mind! I will see him every chance I get.
Worst organisation i have experienced but artists were on point and sound was amazing but paying for a show that was shorter than what we paid for because of delays is just unbearable for the fans and the artists
It was litterally the vest show ill ever see, it was absolut Insane.. must watch
