Avenue Q was one of the funniest things i've ever seen! I sat through the whole show laughing and with a smile on my face. The show leaves today, but if i had known it was this good i would have seen it again for sure. I definitely recommend this to anyone who loves to have a good laugh. This show is definitely for adults. So don't bring your little kids haha
This is so well done and witty. I bought the tickets for my boyfriend for our anniversary and we both had a blast!! The humor is wonderfully witty and the actors are absolutely amazing!!! I would not recomend this to anyone who is slightly squeamish regarding sensitive topics like sexuality.
Avenue Q kept us entertained from beginning till end
I did not know what to expect when I went to the show but I was pleasantly surprised. It was funny and related to everyone in the audience.... Amazing show, go, you won't be disappointed.....
I went to the Avenue Q with my wife. We both enjoyed it very much. I would highly recommend it.
Very funny, extremely creative, lots of fun! Great show
What an awesome theatrical experience. I went to Avenue Q not knowing what to really expect and I was blown away. All of the actors have superb singing voices and although some may find the comedy a bit raunchy I laughed my ass off. There are many lessons to be learned about tolerance in Avenue Q but they delivered in a way that is not preachy and thus they are more effective. I would highly recommend this play but it may not be something you wish to take your Baptist grandmother to.
The puppets were so well handled, the actors were hardly noticed. The only flaw, in our opinion, was the segment where the actors came into the audience with hats in hand asking for money, I thought they might return it later but they did not. This was not classy and the audience members around us were very uncomfortable.
Avenue Q was awesomely hilarious and in a totally inappropriate way.
The music was very uplifting - didn't enjoy language even thought I knew it was coming - funny - leader singers excellent - something to enjoy in these times of restraint.
Good singing, acting, handling of the puppets. It is too bad that it was all ruined by vulgar language, gratuitous use of sexually explicit situations, and raunchy humor. The musical may attempt to make a number of social statements, but it fails miserably in doing so and is rather an inadvertent mirror reflection of much that is hailing in our society.
Hilarious & creative. Real life with puppets. Not suitable of children.
The actors did a good job but this is not my kind of play
This is a funny show that is a bit of a spoof off of Sesame Street. It is definitely for adults only due to language and outright muppets having sex on stage with little left to your imagination. I am still laughing about some of the scenes as a I type this.
Incredible performance. The music was spot on, the staging great, the comedy offensive, and the overall message poignant. I swore I hated musicals, but I've been converted. I want to see this again, and again.
The musical "Avenue Q" brought back lots of memories of Sesame Street and the fun that one had watching that. Brought forward a number of years it was interesting to see relationships start, falter, and continue. A bit more R-rated than I had expected, but brought on lots of laughs. The dialogue and singing was very clear. A very enjoyable show!
This production of Avenue Q was absolutely incredible. The puppetry was sharp, the vocalization of the cast was impressive, and the audience all had a great time.
Avenue Q was entertaining and fast paced. I was touched by the young people trying to negotiate their lives and purpose. It was impressed that difficult issues were addressed and so many ideas were symbolized by the puppets which made it simpler. It is not culture as I expect to see it in theatre. It was fine. From racism to love to homophobia to the internet this show covers it all! This was a great show, lots of fun, incredibly funny. Very well written, and a very modern musical. I'd recommend this show to everyone 16 and older who is looking for a great night. The characters were very animated, and the small cast is incredibly talented. I would definitely see it again.
