We thoroughly enjoyed Ben Harper and Charlie Musslewhite’s music. I enjoyed the rock and roll bluesy combination. The band was awesome and in particular the drummer. I would have liked one more Charlie Musslewhite solos but all in all it was a great concert.
My husband and I loved the show. The masters at two different ages entertained and engaged the audience. A good time was had by all. Ben Harper's voice showed brilliant control and deep bluesy influences. Charlie Musselwhite's harmonics and voice were solid gold.
Ben Harper is a master showman with his anecdotes and talented fingers. Charlie Musselwhite is the perfect half of this awesome duo. They were seamless and a joy to experience. The Jube was the perfect intimate setting for their talents. What an opportunity to experience these showmen and their band here in Edmonton! Not to be missed!
Ben Harper was amazing and then Charlie Musselwhite blew me away!! Amazing old school blues/blue grass vocals and that Harmonica!! He is a demon with the Harmonica - literally thought I was listening to multiple instruments!! It was a privilege. They generously played for over two hours and every set was mind blowing!! loved it!! Great night!!
The Ben Harper & Charlie Musselwhite concert was great overall, but Musselwhite stole the show with his understanding and innate feel for the heart of the blues. Harper and band were technically good but lacked Musselwhite's soul. Harper is a good performer, if he concentrated more on singing and played the guitar less he could be a great performer.

Orpheum never fails, worth every penny. Great ambience, great drinks, great music. It was my first time watching Ben Harper and he lived up to all my hopes. His voice was so beautifully raw, the band was amazing, and Charlie Musselwhite was the icing on the cake. Every single harmonic note pulled my heart in every direction. Loved every second.
Ben and Charlie at the Jube sounded simply amazing! I prefer to sit closer so I can see their faces and second tier that was difficult . But the sound was just great !
So amazing! $20 seats and an unforgettable performance. You can’t beat that!
