About

William "Billy" Currington has racked up seven No. 1 hits over ten successful years including 2013's smash single "Hey Girl" and brand-new album We Are Tonight.

Born in 1973 and raised in Rincon, Georgia, Currington moved to Nashville after high school to pursue a career in country music, working for a concrete company to make ends meet and playing clubs and writing songs on the side. He eventually cut tracks for George Strait, Kenny Rogers and Mark Wills, which led to him signing to Mercury Nashville Records in 2003. His self-titled debut album came out later that year, featuring the singles "Walk a Little Straighter" about his relationship with his alcoholic stepfather, and "I Got A Feelin’", which reached the Top 5 on the country charts. His sophomore album Doin’ Something Right was released in 2005, spawning the singles "Why, Why, Why" and the number one hits "Must Be Doin’ Something Right" and "Good Directions", and selling over one million copies in the U.S. In 2008, Currington put out the track "Don’t", which climbed to number two on the charts and preceded the release of his third album Little Bit of Everything, also featuring number one singles "People Are Crazy" and "That’s How Country Boys Roll". His fourth studio album Enjoy Yourself came out in 2010 and its singles "Pretty Good at Drinkin’ Beer" and "Let Me Down Easy" also achieved number one status on the country charts. He was toured with the likes of Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Sugarland, playing concerts to ticket holders all over the country.

    Great show... but too short

by grooth on 2016-09-12The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Billy Currington was an amazing act to see perform! It was a very fun concert and he has a great voice. But he came on at 8:30 and was done by 10:00! Not exactly worth the price of admission

    Billy Currington was fantastic!

by JenniferB on 2016-09-12The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

We were introduced to Billy Currington a few years back when he opened for Carrie Underwood. We instantly loved him. We have been fortunate to see him "live" a few times since then but seeing him up close and personal at the Danforth Music Hall was the best. He oozes with charisma and genuinely appears to enjoy performing for his fans. He sang some new songs as well as some of his older best hits and the audience loved all of it. He created a lot of energy the entire show and you could feel the connection with the audience. It was clear everyone was having the time of their lives! We are not typically country music fans but we LOVE Billy Currington. Can't wait until he comes back our way again. I highly recommend this show to anyone.

by SmittysGirl on 2013-02-21ACC and Seneca Niagara Casino - Toronto

Have seen him in concert twice. Once when he opened for Kenny Chesney and again when he headlined at Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls, NY. He sounds just as amazing live as he does on CD and his energy is incredible!!!

    Billy was amazing!!

by Tbone69 on 2012-07-30The Seneca Niagara Events Center at Seneca Niagara Casino - Niagara Falls

This was my first time seeing Billy Currington and I was very impressed! He sounded absolutely awesome, looked adorably cute and I felt he made a connection with the entire audience. What impressed me the most was at the end of the last song he didn't make a quick exit ... he hung around for a good 10 min or more giving autographs, shaking hands and taking pictures with some lucky audience members ;). All in all I just loved everything about Billy (what a great voice) and his band members. The evening had all the qualities of a great concert. Can't wait for the new CD!

    billy better than most

by dupesdad on 2012-04-24Casino Rama - Rama

billy currington's show was great. ranked up with the best shows i;ve seen at this venue. a lot of the people there probably didn't know david nail or kir moore's work but hopefully they left with two more reasons to like country music. fans at the show said it was a shame that billy currington hasn't won many awards but i say the energy shown at this show along with the talent comes from the love of the music. look forward to my next billy currington show . i wonder how many labrador pups named PACO will be showing up

    so so

by outawac on 2012-04-24Casino Rama - Rama

The sound was horriable!!Way to much bass and the loudness of the music covered up the singers voice. It was entertaining and worth the money other than the bad sound.

    Billy Currington was fabulous!!

by Myselfeh on 2012-04-23Casino Rama - Rama

Very entertaining, really connected with his fans, he even had a contest where a woman that came to the concert got to go up on stage and sing with him for one song. He brought his dog on stage for the song Want you to love me like my dog, which was pretty cool. I would go see him again but I would want to get better seats for sure.

    Amazing show!

    by KP91 on 2012-04-23Casino Rama - Rama

Overall, a great performance by all of the artists! They kept the audience engaged and played their hit songs that kept the crowd singing along! It was especially great that Kip Moore joined the public for a meet and great afterwords!
